El Dorado Royale (EDR) Brides - POST HERE!

Recommended Posts

Checked the 14 day forecast, I'm getting worried how hot it'll be! Not that I can do anything about it. Hopefully being right on the ocean will help. I'm afraid that I'm going to have to order all my pictures in black and white, because my face will be so red!

it's pretty darn windy on the beach so the breeze will keep you cool. and the water will be nice and refreshing for a break while you're there.

on your wedding day - just expect to be hot. it's the dress and the excitement. you'll be gorgeous no matter what!!!

Wha what about wearing sneakers to dinner? My FI is wearing converse for the wedding, could he wear those into dinner?[/quote Yes he should be fine with sneakers. All the guys in our group wore tennis shoes with no problem. Most restaurants were okay with flip flops except Fuentes and the Italian restaurants. It's the sleeveless shirts on guys that is a big issue, even at the restaurants by the pool. Just have the guys bring a t-shirt with them when they go to the beach and pool just in case.

Everything will be PERFECT and you will have so much fun you will never want to come home!!!

Make sure if you ever get Geofrey as your shuttle driver, tell him Gail & Chuck say HI!!! He was so awesome. He's the one we tipped really well. He works 7-3 and came in early just to pick us up for our excursions, he def went above and beyond!!

The wedding coordinators are better than you could ever even imagine, I don't think I can put into words what a fantastic and wonderful job they did. Enjoy every minute!!!

Ditto what Gail said!!! Francisco was the shuttle driver that my girls loved - he's FB friends with all of them now. And Victor from NYC was our favorite bartender - we can't wait to see them again!

don't be nervous Lindsey. it will all be absolutely wonderful. go enjoy all of your planning and hard work. most importantly - enjoy your wedding day and honeymoon in paradise!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
