Hey Darcy, Here is where I'm getting my sheers.  http://www.efavormart.com/tulle-and-organza.aspx

They have a bunch of different fabric types in all different colors.  I think the polyester rolls probably would have been ok too.  I decided to do satin.  I think if you go back to some of my other posts I put up the photos that my WC sent me of different materials.  I liked satin best, so that's what I'm going with.  I think they're 29.99... way better than the 200.00 a piece the resort wanted me to pay for satin.  That's an awesome score on the sashes too by the way... maybe I should be posting on the knot... I haven't been looking there.

We had 40 guests and 7 tables at our reception, so centerpieces added up quickly!

We ended up just using flower pedals, vases and floating candles. I believe they were $120 each, which is kind of pricey, but we did not want to have to fly down with 21 tall glass vases, so we felt like it was worth the price, especially given the high prices they had with full flower center pieces.

We had our gazebo flowers moved to our reception and placed on the entry table with our place "cards" (my mom painted sandollars and my grandfather made us the tray).

I had wanted callalillies in my bouquet because I think they are so classy and my parents used them for her wedding flower... but they were "out of season" so I picked white Iris and sea grass. I loved my bouquet, but for some reason I expected it to be bigger.

Thanks Allie!

Well, my son left for Army basic training in Fort Benning yesterday. I've been quite the mess, it was MUCH harder than I even anticipated.

We had a party for him Saturday evening......here we are, hard to believe he's 20 and a grown man now.....happy, but sad all at the same time!!!msncry.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
