El Dorado Royale (EDR) Brides - POST HERE!

Recommended Posts

I went to care last night and had two steroid shots and antibiotics! Feeling much better today! The time could not go any slower today at work.

seriously? for $42? I'd pack a small bottle of acetone, triple wrapped and deal with it myself for that cost. While I'm not in chlorine or salt water day-in/day-out, my hands are always wet (I'm sort of a freak about washing my hands), and I've never had discoloration. Well, except for a little reddish on the edges b/c I just got my hair colored!! lol

YAY!! You have to be healthy. You leave TOMORROW! Wishing you all the best Stina, and can't wait to hear/see all about your lovely wedding. If/when you get caught up when you get back, we should meet up for lunch one weekend.

I go to the salon - I'm just not talented enough to paint my own durn nails in a pretty way lol it's UV cured, so if you get one of the lamps at home, buy the supplies, you can do it at home. For me, it's a nice hour to myself every other week without the FI.

Jill-

A makeup trial is $49 and $86 for the wedding day. There is also a 10% "service charge", but you should receive 15% off spa services in your wedding package as well. No idea what kind of make up they use. You might need to do the live chat on Lomas' website. When I asked a question about the salon using the live chat, they called the salon while chatting with me to give me a quick response.

Interesting that they charge on top of their price but the discount should cover that anyway. Should I do a trial run or should I just let it go the day of the wedding?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
