El Dorado Royale (EDR) Brides - POST HERE!

Another (not as great) idea might be to make a photo collage. I think I saw where you could make one on Kodak Gallery. You upload your pics and then choose how you want them laid out, and then it prints them on one poster sized sheet. Hope this makes sense. If not let me know.

Here is the link to it. I think they may ship it to you in tube. I also make books from this same site every year so that we can keep the memories alive. We have them sitting on our coffee table. And blurb.com is good too, as are many of the other picture sites.

Is anyone having the tequila donkey at their wedding/cocktail hour, how much is that?
Bummer about the projector. I'm with you, how hard could it be to set up? What an insane price!

We are having the cocktail party after our ceremony with the donkey. The donkey is why FH agreed to the cocktail party. We are paying $20 per person for the party and the donkey is included in the cocktail party package. We added a mahi mahi taco to make it the $20 so I think the base price is $16 per person and that includes some tacos, international bar for 2 hours and the donkey(he's only there for 1 hour apparently). We are sooo excited for the donkey and we haven't told anyone cuz we wanted it to be a surprise. I mean really who has a donkey at their wedding? smile120.gif

After all of the posts I've read on using inside and outside photographers, I was bit worried about selecting someone but then I noticed that a new photographer came available at EDR that wasn't an option before - Claudia Rodriguez. Looked at her site and loved the pics. I couldn't get her for my date but got one of her staff - Citlalli.

If anyone has used these guys or knows of them, please let me know your thoughts. I have allocated the most funds to the photographer so want to make sure I'm making the right choice.

Thanks girls!
I just booked Citlalli too for my Dec wedding!! :) Her portfolio looks amazing-I love the artistic shots! Claudia was so fast and nice through emails and I just it booked through my coordinator, Priscila, with a 30% deposit. I will be sure to review her on here after we get our photos.

Congrats!! I agree - her photos look amazing and very unique! I can't wait to hear how your experience goes. I'm so glad Claudia became an option for photography at EDR and I agree, very easy to communicate with so far. Now I'm just torn on which package to go with - I want them all! :-)

Whoa, that is a lot of money(Thx BagLover21 for the info!). And I don't think I can haul a projector and computer...maybe that would be something to save for a later family/friend get together or holiday and I can combine our wedding photos with our childhood and dating ones. Oh well, can't do everything when your travelling!

We are getting the donkey cocktail too for after our ceremony. My FI is SO excited for it, that is all he talks about when people ask about our wedding! He even said we can't take too long with photos cause he doesn't want to miss the donkey! Ahh boys, (sometimes) so easy to please!!!!!! cheesy.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
