After a year long renovation, Sundial Beach & Golf Resort once again welcomes guests as Sanibel Island's premier family and wedding destination. Tasteful one- and two-bedroom condominiums sleep up to six people and provide all the comforts of home with fully equipped kitchens, spacious living areas, cable TVs and screened lanais offering either gulf or garden views.

Bridal couples dreaming of an elaborate nuptial celebration need to look no further. Sundial's professional wedding planners make sure that every last detail becomes reality, allowing soon-to-be newlyweds to choose from an impressive bouquet of packages and venues. Ceremonies are typically arranged on Pear Welk, Turtle, and Sundial Beaches or Lace Murex Lawn, each with its own backdrop of swaying palms, lush blooms and rolling waves. Elegant and private facilities are available to accommodate receptions of 2 to 250 guests. Among them are the famed Windows on the Water restaurant, The Terrace intimate dining room, Beaches Lounge, stylish Sanibel/Captiva Ballroom, Gulf-view Caribbean Room and Sundial Ballroom, the grand Main Pool Deck and Sundial's own private stretch of beach. Wedding packages are individually customized to ensure no two events are alike. The wedding coordinator and Chef Noopie work closely with couples to create a menu that suits all tastes. Mouthwatering selections may include anything from fresh bronzed grouper to artistically designed sushi and whipped potato martini bars. Outside, 14 miles of sand offer endless gulf- and shore-side activities. Guests discover island nature as they kayak or sail on sapphire blue waters or bike along more than 20 miles of paved scenic paths surrounding the resort. A top golf getaway, Sanibel also challenges guests at the Dunes Golf & Tennis Club, just down the road. Kids and adults alike will cherish such recreational pursuits as arts and crafts, crab races and shelling. More than 200 rare species of shells may be spotted on the beach at low tide. Tennis, Hobie Cats & Sun Fish and scuba diving clinics are other highlights on the activities menu, or couples may just relax by one of five swimming pools or with an in-room massage for two.

How much approximately would this resort cost for a group of about 40 people (would need 20 rooms) and an intimate wedding ceremony on the beach. My daughter doesn't want to walk up an aisle or have dancing, so it would be the ceremony and a dinner.

Thanks.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
