Ok, I guess its my turn. . .Iâ€ve been waiting for what seems like forever to do this but it has gone by so so fast. First, I would like to thank Tammy for starting this amazing forum, without it I would be lost!! Second, I would like to thank everyone who has helped me along the way. Especially the girls on the Royal PDC thread. I wish you all the best on your weddings. I definitely will miss talking to you all everyday! Sorry if I donâ€t mention specific names but thank you thank you thank you!!!!

Engagement

My FI proposed on a beautiful summer day in July 2009. He had an entire day planned for me including a vineyard tour, breakfast in bed, flowers. After all his hard work, he didnâ€t get it done the way he wanted, but we made it home and he proposed in the same park we go to almost everyday to walk our dogs. It was so special because it was it was our place and with our puppies. He couldnâ€t have planned it better!!

Yup, one more. I had to post this cuz my FI just gave this to me as one of my wedding gifts. It is a engraved wine box that HE MADE!! It is absolutey gorgeous! He is so romantic. we will use to put a bottle of wine with letters to eachother about why we love eachother and why we are together. We will open the box and wine at our one year anniversary and read the letters. What a great idea!!! I found it somewhere on here but can't find it now cuz Im tired!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
