Gran Caribe Real 2011 Brides

Recommended Posts

Hey I actually saw a reception located in the Sunset Grill. I wasn't able to look inside but I saw colorful flashing lights through the glass doors and people dressed up. It looked fun!

Hey ladies,

Im getting married on April 6th and if anyone is getting married at the Gran Caribe or Royal right around April 7th I will be leaving some decorations down there if anyone wants them. I will have aqua and yellow chair bows(33 total), 4 glass bowl centerpieces that have yellow flowers around the outside of the bowl and inside you can put floating candles with water... Also will have long yellow floral strands that Im hanging on the two pillars of the gazebo for decoration. I also have a cute strapless wedding dress that I bought from DHGate size 6 that Im going to wear for an hour in the ocean then just leave it down in Mexico...too much to bring back. So if any of you girls want anything just let me know! :) Happy Planning!!!

Hi Ladies,

For those of you that had to purchase day passes for your wedding guests - what time did their pass expire?  Were they escorted out at a certain time?  I'd hate to have a guest be forced to leave if we are still celebrating our wedding.

TIA

Please dont be fooled into bying wedding passes. You don not need to buy wedding passes for guests attending your wedding. I just got married a at the Grand Carible Real my self so know that for a fact.  I wrote about this in a thread dedicated to the Grand Caribe Real.

I don't understand.  Are you ladies saying they do not need day passes if they are not guests at the hotel?  I don't mind paying, I just do ot want anyone to be escorted out half way through the wedding.

Unfortunaty that thread did not help me.  It seems as though those guests were allowed on the property for about an hour - 2 hours during the ceremony only.  My wedding will be about 8 hrs long, I just want to make sure my guests with the day passes are ot escorted off the property at 11pm if the wedding is still going on at that time.

Regardless you dont need a pass. I made sure of this and asked me WC time again if my guests would need a day pass. I worried because I noticed lots of ladies here asking the same thing so I called her and spoke to her and she asked me "where are you getting this wrong information from"  It does not matter if your there for 1 hr or 8. If your getting married there I was told by my WC that my guests did NOT need a day pass. =0)
