Hey abbypoo!

I hope you can help us.  We just reserved our wedding date for 2012 and can't decide between the rooftop terrace or the villas terrace for the reception..  We would really appreciate any feedback you can tell us about either.  We haven't been to the property.

Congratulations!

Hey Ladies!! I'm booked for Febuary 24th 2012! Yay! Question... We are doing a beach ceremony and reception. Any idea what part of the beach is best? Or better? I can not find any pic or reviews of real weddings and receptions on the beach at the gran caribe or royal. Is it a bad idea? I'm interested to hear where you chose and why.

Childbride - Yes, I did take double the amount I needed. It's still cheaper to bring with you than to pay $ 3.00 per bow there.

Shay12- You can request your wedding coordinator for more pics of the place you choose. As far as being a good idea or not to have the wedding at the beach is up to  you. I didn't do mine because I was afraid of the sun be too hot, but the cocktail hour at the beach rocked as the sun was already starting to go down

We just shot a wedding at the Royal's beach a few days ago.  We have done quite a few there.  The nice thing about having it there is there are so many spots close by for more photos :)  Here are some of our favorite shots from that wedding:

Hey ladies,

Just wanted to know what everyone's wedidng favors will be and how you plan to bring it to the resort?

And has anyone done the Out of Town/Welcome bags?

Plus, how are you all booking your rooms and your guests' rooms? Will you be going through the resort site rates, our wedding coordinator rates, through some other website, or a travel agent? This is the main thing that's been stressing me out lately. =T

Thanks Ladies. Love you all for your feedback and support regarding The Royal/Gran Caribe. This Destination Wedding planning has been more than I expected. lol.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
