Hey ladies,

Im getting married on April 6th and if anyone is getting married at the Gran Caribe or Royal right around April 7th I will be leaving some decorations down there if anyone wants them. I will have aqua and yellow chair bows(33 total), 4 glass bowl centerpieces that have yellow flowers around the outside of the bowl and inside you can put floating candles with water... Also will have long yellow floral strands that Im hanging on the two pillars of the gazebo for decoration. I also have a cute strapless wedding dress that I bought from DHGate size 6 that Im going to wear for an hour in the ocean then just leave it down in Mexico...too much to bring back. So if any of you girls want anything just let me know! :) Happy Planning!!!

Please dont be fooled into bying wedding passes. You don not need to buy wedding passes for guests attending your wedding. I just got married a at the Grand Carible Real my self so know that for a fact.  I wrote about this in a thread dedicated to the Grand Caribe Real.

I hope it helps to clear things up!

Unfortunaty that thread did not help me.  It seems as though those guests were allowed on the property for about an hour - 2 hours during the ceremony only.  My wedding will be about 8 hrs long, I just want to make sure my guests with the day passes are ot escorted off the property at 11pm if the wedding is still going on at that time.

Regardless you dont need a pass. I made sure of this and asked me WC time again if my guests would need a day pass. I worried because I noticed lots of ladies here asking the same thing so I called her and spoke to her and she asked me "where are you getting this wrong information from"  It does not matter if your there for 1 hr or 8. If your getting married there I was told by my WC that my guests did NOT need a day pass. =0)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
