Eliana,

Hope you have decided what dress you really want to be married in! I agree with the others, when he see's you in the dress walking down the aisle towards him, he'll be blown away with how beautiful his bride looks and wont ever remember any other dress he ever seen!!

Go with what dress you truely want I think you look amazing in both dresses but I especially like the first one!!

My FI walked past my dress three times in the store window and didn't glance twice at it!! He has no idea he has actually seen my dress! It looks and sits better on me a million times better than the model in the window and I truly feel amazing in it!! The sparkle, glow you'll have from it being your wedding day will make you and feel indescribable in the dress you deep down want! :) Don't settle and choose your wedding dress with your heart!!

Good luck and let us know what dress you decide on!

Hey Eliana,

You're a beautiful girl so you do both dresses justice. You look great in both. In my opinion, the first dress is more of the beachy tropical feel you're going for. The second dress is beautiful as well, but think about how hot you'd be in it. Either way, I don't think you can go wrong. But follow your gut and pic the dress you absolutely LOVE.

It's ok that your FI just said "it's nice". I mean, what guy is really going to say, "OMG, that dress is absolutely gorgeous"? We all hope that's the response that you get but realistically......lol

I'm sure you'll make the right decision and be gorgeous in either. Tick tock though, gotta make that decision quick.

I agree with the others that guys aren't the best at expressing themselves so don't worry about that because you look great in both dresses.

My honest opinion is that I love the first dress and think it's stunning and I'm not just saying that to make you feel better about your decision. I think it's perfect for a destination wedding.

Eliana, they're both beautiful, but if I had to pick one for you, I would go with the second one. The first one looks nice on you, but the second one just seems to be made for you! Either way, go with what is in your heart and trust your instints!

As for your guy's response -- that's pretty normal! They don't get all mushy about this kind of stuff, like we do. I would only be concerned if he absolutely hated it and it doesn't sound like he did!

I have to agree with most of the ladies, you look beautiful in both but something about the Destiny screams that it was made for you. I went shopping for my dress alone, partially because I want it to be a dress I love sans the opinions. I hope whichever you choose, you choose it because you love it and it speaks to you. Good luck!

The second one is more flattering on you, although both dresses are incredible AND I'm partial to Maggie Sottero's designs. You should go with the dress that evoked the most emotion/feeling from you. I've heard and seen so many times that when you find "the one" (dress) YOU KNOW.

Nevermind what the pictures of the dress didn't spark a rise out of your FI. It's someone else in the dress, not the love of his life. Go with the dress that you absolutely love and one that won't leave you with worry or guilt.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
