We got married in Ixtapa last march. Beautiful beaches, nice weather. We got our photo and video services from BN photography, they are this nice couple with a lot of great ideas. We were very happy with the results, they are very professional, fully recommended, very fair price!

If you're considering getting married in Mexico, Ixtapa is a great option, not expensive and beautiful beaches, very romantic.

Hi Mariana,

Congratulations on your marriage! I am also getting married in Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo and still looking for a few pointers.

 

Did you get your hair and make up done? Would you recommend them? If yes, would you please forward their contact information to me?

 

Also, what time of day did you have your ceremony? I'm leaning towards noon but I hear the lighting is too intense for photographs.

 

Anyway, ANY help you can give is appreciated.

You may also want consider bringing your own photographer from your city or country. Make sure to check that the photographer has experience in Mexico and that you like their style. In some cases it may be more affordable and even get a better package offering than the resort's or local photographers. For our wedding we hired a Canadian-Mexican photographer at almost 40% less of what we were quoted by our resort's photographer.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
