What are you guys putting in the kids' OOT bags? We have nieces and nephews coming, ages range from 1.5-9 and I have no clue what to get for them. Space is also an issue since many toys are too large to bring considering all the other stuff.. Ideashuh.gif Thank you :)

Beach toys! Sand toys are great if you can fit them or pick them up at a Wal-Mart or something while you are there (Cancun has a Wal-Mart, i notice you are going to Aruba, and i have no clue if there is one there) but also consider deflated beach balls, swimming rings, and rafts...they take up hardly any room when deflated and are so fun in the ocean!

You can also consider things like coloring books, flip flops, or even little squirt guns.

I ordered activity books (wedding themed, soooo cute) but we almost have to choose individually due to age differences. That is a great idea regarding inflatables! I have no idea if we will have any time to go shopping in Aruba and it might stress me out not having everything ready. But I also want kids to have fun. Portable games would probably work as well... Water toys are fun but again, space might be an issue.. Any other ideas??

I bought some dollar store items like goggles, water balls that are the size of baseballs but are squishy so you can get them in a suitcase. I purchased skinny tubes of bubbles for $1 at Walmart and they fit in the suitcase really well. Tattoos for girls and boys - they will love playing around with them...you can get a bunch of boy and girl tatoos on oriental trading...I could keep going with the little things that won't take up space :)

At Target for $1 each, I found small sand pails and shovels for all kid bags (ages 2 - 6), & for the girls, cute mini notebooks, Disney princess colored markers & lip balm plus soda flavored lip balm for the boys. At the dollar store, I got coloring/activity books for all & Spiderman crayons for the boys. At Michaels, in the dollar bins, I found animal mini notebooks for the boys. Will finish off with water & snacks we get from the grocery store in Key West. Whew!

I was thinking about just putting a bag with a few pool/beachy gifts in each kid's parent's bag. Instead of making each kid their own whole bag. Just due to lack of packing space. And I know the resort is going to have a ton for them when we get there.

I'm going to make the kids seperate bags so far I have water inflatables, water guns, lip balm, sweets, glow sticks, tattoos. I'm trying to make them geared towards them individually as have various ages travelling with us. Though my son is keeping me on the right track :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
