Hello Everyone! Im so excited to be find a forum that is tailored specifically for Destination Weddings :)

 

To explain a little bit about myself, my husband and I have been married for a little over 4 years now and are both in the military. I was pregnant with our first child on the 1st year we were married and he had deployed. We never had a religious wedding and had just gone to the JOP. As with life, years fly by, and every time we try to plan for one...it was either financially we werent stable or I was pregnant :)

 

I now have 2 sons (3 yrs old and 10 mos old) and we have officially placed our deposit down for Valentines Day next year at Dreams Cancun Resort and Spa since that would mark our 5 year wedding anniversary.

 

Ive looked around the forum a little bit but I would still love some guidance/direction as to where to look for posts similar to mine. Or that may help me out even more; I'm having trouble finding wedding vows and wordings that would include my two children and not having it be a joining of two families from prior marriages since both our kids are...well..ours :)

 

I hope this didnt end up being too confusing!

Hi there,

Congratulations on finally booking the wedding it seems you have always wanted :)

 

I am also new to this site and for someone whos usually good with computers and the internet, im struggling lol!

 

just thought I would drop you a message as I am in process of booking my wedding at Dreams Cancun too. I have went ahead with booking flights and accommodation but still awaiting confirmation of weddings dates from Claudia, who hasnt been the quickest at getting back to me these days, which is worrying!

 

Just wanted to ask how your experience has been so far with booking through Claudia? Im starting to get a little worried! x

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
