One more question. LOL
You mention bringing the seating plan, but did you know before hand how the tables were going to be set up? It makes a difference if they are tables of 6, 8, 10, round, one long rectangle, etc.
We knew that the tables in the steakhouse sat 4 and that they would be pushed together to create bigger tables. We wanted big square tables (4 smaller tables pushed together) but it didn't happen. They had set them up as long rectangular tables, ours varied from 7 to 10 people per tables. Round tables are not an option, at the steakhouse anyway.

I'd love to help you, but I don't know that much about it. Here is what I do know:

We will get married here before we leave.

Over there the symbolic ceremony will be performed by Yahimara, the wedding coordinator.

She had giving us the option of doing a RENEWAL of VOWS instead, which would have meant that a lawyer would have performed the ceremony. We still would have gotten legally married here. If you want it to be as authentic as possible, that might be a better option. It's only slightly more expensive than symbolic (100cuc more), and requires much less paper than actually getting married there. I think all you need is your wedding certificate.

Hope that helps!

RonNMel, thank yo so much for your repsonse. Yes, that information is very helpful! I will e-mail Yahimara and see what information she can send me. I'm having a diffcult time locating an e-mail address for her. Do you by any chance have it? Again, thank you. This forum is fantastic! I'm so nervous about this hotel because there are a few reviews on trip advisor that are negative. I'm hoping that this forum with ease my nerves about it. It would be great to see some pics of people who've already gotten married there. Anyone have any suggestions on where I can see some? Thanks!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
