As for the shoes, it was the peep toe that was cutting in for me. Always the way with my peep toes so i use sore spots. They are the best thing. Go and get yourself some. I will defo have some on for the wedding day cos mine were hurting yesterday. They go inside the shoe wherever its tight and stops the rubbing. I had a pair on for a wedding last year. Was razor sharp peeps and having sore spots on i wore them all day in comfort with no blisters at the end of the day/night. They are wonderful girls!! Go get some :o)

Yeh she said she was getting married. She has kids too. Scarlett was doing my head in with the Dsi and she was laughing at ther. Aww what a lovely thing to say although i'm sure they say all the brides look stunning, as it should be ha ha.. My BM who was with me had her foster child with her. Michelle thought he was Laura's i explained that the baby and his sister are in foster care with my BM and she also has two of her own. She nearly started crying.. bless her. She said he's so lovely and its just so sad.. which it is but those kids are lucky they have my BM and her husband. They are great with them.

Well girls i picked a lovely dress in TKMAXX for scarlett today bargain at £12.99.. and when i got home the wine glass charms for my hen had come. OMG they are SO cute. I love them. Can't wait to see the girls faces when they come down to dinner :o)

My BM's are up to something. They've asked me for all the names of the girls coming on the hen (my sister arranged it).. and then said i was on a need to know now basis.. very exciting but so used to doing everything for myself feel so touched they are planning something. Makes me feel a bit more excited about it all, little things going on behind the scenes, how lovely   xxx Wonder what they are doing.. ha ha..

Oooo yummy! We can't decide if we want our cocktail hour straight after the ceremony or after the pix. We want to attend it and spend time with our guests (i know alot of couples chose to have more pix taken then but we think we've paid for it we're going lol ) at the mo we're thinking ceremony at 3pm, pix 4 - 5.30 then cocktail hour then evening meal.. only because we have scarlett and think it might be best to get the pix out the way while she's in an ok mood rather than wait for her ratty time of the day (5-6ish)... but we'll see how it goes.. just cant wait to get out there and arrange it all properly with the WC.

Zumba again? didn't you go yesterday you gym bunny you!!! lol... i've been shopping today but thats about it. I've got a heat patch on my back and hoping it feels better tomorrow :o(

@Michelle, Kerry thank you girls for support...sometimes i feel that i need to vent a little, cos things get to me a bit :((...to answer your questions, my uncle does know that I would love him to give me away...that's why it makes it all more upsetting...:/

But I have decided for things not to get to me that much anymore!!! Me and my FI had it with trying to please everyone (i know it might sound harsh...) but its our day and no matter what happens and who will be there we will have a blast!!! :D..

Spoke to my SIL today she came over to visit with the kids cos its half term and told her about everything that was happening with my uncle and MIL, and she said the same,.. we should just forget about everyone else and think about ourselves for once!!! SIL's daughter 13 (i guess i can start calling her my niece now lol :D) even offered to make our wedding cake or wedding cupcakes for AHR, which was sooo sweet of her i thought i will cry - so we decided that we will do it together with her a day before our AHR.. :)

@Michelle, I am so happy that you have posted your tiara here, I have been looking at that website forever now lol, but wasn't sure should I order or not, - but now i will definitely do it, cos yours looks stunning! :)) About your son giving you away I thought I will cry as well, bless him (don't know what is wrong with me and crying today lol :D)

We wanted for my FI's daughter to come to Dominican as well so she could stand there with us while we say our vows and be a flower girl as well maybe :))...but her mum wouldnt let her cos she is only little...but i guess i would have done the same...atleast she can be there for our church wedding, yay!!!:))

Oh, I was thinking to get my mum to give me away after that fiasco with my uncle, but the only reason i am unsure is cos she will cry buckets i know her lol :D and if i see other ppl cry especially her that's it!!!... I will be in floods of tears by the time I get to the end of the aisle LOL :D...

@Lease - my FI just told me this weekend that he decided what he is wearing as well (THANK GOD!!!) ...he wants to wear a light grey jacket with a nice shirt (no tie) and long grey trousers..traditional but relax and I love the idea...I know he will look amazing!;D ....... ...

@Lyndsey - wau good luck at zumba hun :)...i wish i would be so consistent with my exercises...although did do some yesterday :D...but today I ache sooo much cant go up the stairs lol :D

Yes defo order from that site it is lovely :o) i'm really pleased with my tiara..

Good for you and dont worry we have all been at that stage when we are upset then angry and then 'over it' i'm glad you are feeling better. Sometimes coming on here and having a vent helps x

That is lovely of your SIL to do your cake. I also have family doing my AHR cake and it makes it that little more special and saves some pennies at the same time..

Glad you girls FI's have decided what they are wearing. Sometimes i think the men are worse than the woman, hee hee.

I am very pleased and proud of Harry giving me away and i know what you mean, I think my mum will be a blubbering wreak too...ha ha x

My fiance is going with the same, he's got a lightweight light brown suit out of Next and will wear the jacket and trousers with open coller white shirt. He's decided tonight he's going to get brown shoes to wear with it. Harrison has the same trousers and instead of the jacket he'll wear the waistcoat to the suit. I actually have to make the appointment for Harry's suit to be altered... better do that.. lol

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
