If you do go in the 99p shop though - check your surroundings first and make sure no-one you know is around and throw the bag away when you get home you never want someone to be around and they ask you for a plastic bag and you pull out the 99p shop bag - lol xxx

Thanx girlies. It was from a little concession kiosk in Bluewater called Peach Accessories they do have a website but they haven't got the lovely little bridal bags on there....http://www.peachaccessories.co.uk/index.php

It was a bargain and perfect for me :o) Josie i'm just using it for the evening. Put the room key in it and lip gloss etc... maybe a little comb...

ha ha Josie you make me laugh, i havent given it too much thought really but when we were at Bluey yesterday i did pick up some antibactial gel and some small pink wipes.. they were 3 for £2 in Marks & Spencers. But what a good idea i will defo pop to a pound store in the week and see if  i can pick up some more bits. I also need to write a little welcome/thank you note to put in there....I'm only doing one bag per room so need 8. I just didn't want a little gift bag to turn into an expensive gift bag ha ha  x

Michelle, I love love love your bag!

for the out of town bags, i have been looking online and found a few good things but home bargains & pound shops are ideal for small toiletries and things to go in hangover kits, first aid kits etc.

We have 38 guests in total so I will definitely be trying to keep the costs down!!x

So much has gone on in just one day.......

Nicy - love the starfish frames they were one of the choices I narrowed it down to on our shortlist but they just worked out a little too expensive with our guests and the p&p - but lovely choice x

Louise - you look beautiful on your wedding day and so happy -  its reminded me why i wanted a beach wedding x

Jo - your flowers look great.

Michelle - whoop whoop love the bag x

Now call me 'dim' but I have never thought of having a bag on my wedding day and I see you are all buying them but what on earth are you going to put in them or are they just for show - as I now want one but will never use a white bag again and dont know what on earth I would put in it - lol!!! x

I am having mine for the reception, just to hold lip gloss, mini mirror, mascarra, perfume..... i was debating on having one but i thought, i NEVER go anywhere with out a bag with a few bits in.... i know we will be in resort, but i thought i dont want to have to trapes back to the room everytime want to look in the mirror (im not vain... but wana be beautiful all day long on my wedding day) or top up lippy or spra a but of perfume.... and i dont want it all just to be placed on the table for the world to see, i was debaiting givng it to my mum but then i thought id b a right pain in the butt if i was mitherin her all afternoon/night for bits and bobs x

Some brilliant ideas girlies!!!

Just thought i'd share my find with you all, I bought mini wedding photo frames for our wedding favours, they are silver and have 2 wedding bells or 2 birds on them and they are only £2.99 for 12 from Home and Bargain.   We are going to have them for our reception when we get home that way I can print off a picture of us on our wedding day and put it in the frames.

Louise - Cant see your photo's unfortunately, have been dying to see them too as we are getting married at the Moon Palace too!!!  Brilliant planning thread BTW!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
