As my wedding is going to place down on the beach and you have to walk across a wooden platform and down some steps (I have been to the hotel b4) I am going to go either bare foot or have the bare foot sandals - I think Nicy has already made some. As for me this is what having a beach wedding is all about ie; feeling the sand between your toes. I am then going to get some bling flip flops for the evening (I havent got any yet). We have our AHR in Feb the week after we come back so have got some flat wedding pumps for this as my dress has already been made to this length.

The 12th is a thursday so if we don't get that we might get offered friday 13th! i hope not i feel like we'd be jinxing it!! 7 is still a nice number, we were shocked at how many people actually booked up for us!x
I believe if you request a date they are quite good in giving it, especially for girls like us who book a year or so in advance, Fingers crossed for you that you get the 12th :-)
We fly out on the 1st (sunday) and requested 6th its our 5th working day which is great as then we have the whole of the 2nd week to mini honeymoon, desperatly hoping to get away later in the year just the two of us on another mini honeymoon so to speak but it really depends on the funds x

Josie your shoes are lovely where did you get those from? I am thinking of wearing sandals or bare foot for the ceremony and putting heels on for the evening, not sure for the bridesmaids yet will probably be sandal/flip flop between the toe type ones lol these are the ones i am thinking of.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
