1lb a week isnt' bad! when im off my diet i can put on like 5lb in a week! you've done well. those nibbles sound FABULOUS! if i wasn't so close to the wedding i'd have a night in tonight with a movie and a bag of those! mmmmmmmm!!

I've applied for quite a few and am just waiting on the outcome - had an interview on Wednesday but it was v relaxed so have no idea how i did. As I will have to accept a job for less money (part and parcel of the economy at the mo), but am think of working for myself as one of my friends does this. 3 weeks feels like a long time when i am used to working - but on a positive front I have done so many 'wedding things' that i previously never had time to do and when you have time on your hands you can barter with people and companies and do so much more research - i am going to be queen of doing a wedding on a budget! x

however learning all these bartering tricks in the last few weeks i'm gonna stick to the 'oh i have recently been made redundant - i'll see if i can get a cheaper quote elsewhere.....' line - lol x

Haha... yeah there is nothing wrong in bending the truth slightly when bartering :-) And your not telling lies coz you did get made redundant recently... (just happen to forget to mention you have got a job in the mean time) :-) x Good on ya x

Woodsylou....Wow you must be soooo excited with only a few days to go, are you all set and ready?

 

I have been looking at dresses for the past few weeks now purely because everything is quite expensive i want to have plenty of time to pay for everything so trying to get a head start, so after looking and trying LOADS of different styles on i finally found THE DRESS and have put my deposit down yay was sooo exciting, here it is (the pics are of someone who had the same dress and are selling it on ebay!)

Now thats what I call a wedding dress! In a good way....... when someone says wedding dress this is the image I envisage it is lovely. Are you having yours made for you?

 

For some reason my eyes are drawn to the flowers she is holding - they actually look like she popped down Tesco and got them - lol!!!!

 

I have achieved so much in the last couple of days and am getting all the addresses from everyone this weekend to send out the STD cards for our AHR - it only seems like yesterday I was saying I've got a year left - suddenly I have just under 6 months before I leave!!!!

Josie....I hadn't actually noticed the flowers but yeah they do look like a bunch from tesco lol lol, that made me chuckle. Time flys soooo quick when wedding planning 6 months will be round before you know it, we have around 15 months left which isn't going to be that long in hindsight as we have loads going on so busy busy busy.

 

Nicy.....The feeling i have about my dress is amazing i keep looking at it and smiling which makes me feel hideous lol.

 

I am really getting married lol having put my deposit on my dress has made it feel real lol

I have to agree with Josie, When someone says wedding dress it definatly is the type of wedding dress you do picture :-) Its absolutly fantastic that you have that feeling Vicki and you keep on smiling girl....

Haha, Tesco flowers.... Tesco never fail to have something for everyone x

I know what dress i want but im not going to be getting it until the end of the year, i called a shop in Carlisle last week to arrange to go in to try "my" dress again but they dont have it in any more and to get it in for the day to try on will cost me £35 which i dont have so i am just going to have to go with my initial gutt feeling when i tried the dress on like 12 months ago :-) I know its the one but i just wanted to make sure and no other stockist have it in Carlisle :-(
