tomorrow's my last day in the office, thank GOD! i am just looking forward to getting out there and it all coming together!

i wasn't going to do the something borrowed/blue/old/new thing, until people started buying me things!! so far i have old (my nan's ring) new (my dress) and Blue (the girls bought me 'I Do' crystals for the bottom of my shoes!) so need borrowed. but i can't think of ANYTHING to borrow as i have everything!!!
You must be so excited! Good luck with everything, hope you have a wonderful wedding!
Thinking of your 'borrowed' -I take it your keeping your Nan's ring after the wedding? If not you can have 2 in 1! I'm borrowing my Gran's ring, which is old and blue also! If not, could you borrow something simple, like nail varnish from a friend or hair grips for your hair.... doesn't need to be anything big!

Glad I could help! It's funny how we're all not having a 'traditional' wedding, but there are always some traditions you just have to keep!

BTW - I wanted bright pink nails, but people keep telling me not to! So love the idea of you having bright red nails, so now I'm thinking SOD IT, I'm having pink!!

That's lovely about your Nan's ring :)

I think an engraved frame is a lovely idea - I did come across some wooden ones some time ago that have a beach wedding theme cut into the frame and then you add your name and date on the bottom. We have 3 sets of parents to give presents to as FIs parents are divorced and both remarried so we have decided; my mum and FMIL are having a bottle of their fav perfume and then an engraved vintage perfume bottle, with date etc, FIs dad we have got some camera cufflinks in an engraved box as he is a photographer and will be doing our photos, My dad - no bloody idea as he is really difficult - we will prob get him something like West Ham tickets!! LOL. Then a joint gift for all 3 sets of parents, we will give them either the photo frame or say we will do a photobook of the wedding and their hols in Mexico when we get back.

LOL! My mum did something the other day for me re- nail varnish which really made me smile its always the small things that do!!!!! She was waiting in line in the chemist waiting to pay and she was stood by the nail varnish stand and she saw a colour called 'Mexico Celebration' it is a pinky/orange colour a real nice summer colour, and she gave it to me and I will wear on my toes as going to keep my finger nails a natural colour. But it was such a sweet off the cuff gesture; as was having a down day when I was job searching x

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
