WOW what a lovely birthday present! lovely time in the sun......oooo i miss the sun :o(

Hello newbie brides :o)

My FI is wearing a lightweight light brown suit from Next. He'll only have the jacket on for the official bit and some pix then he will just take it off and have open coller white shirt on. :o) he looks gorg in it if i do say so myself. Add a tan and whey hay!! ha ha

Nicy - OMG i am so excited about your interview. (know how crappy you feel in your job now) Oh i have everything crossed for you! 11 weeks time you could be married and in a better happier job i REALLY hope it goes ok and you can tell your old job to stick it ha ha!!

I think your AHR sounds great. I wish we could do our own food. (my sister is in Catering so would of done it all for free) but the hotel are charging us over 2k for ours :o( just pants that is. We have singers booked for the entertainment but that it. As long as there is food and drink and some music you'll have a great night. The room we are having ours in is quite pretty to so i'm not even bothering with decorations lol.. just another expense we could do without! Lovely you have so many ppl to help ie, invites etc. So happy for you Nic! x

I had a lovely day shopping, i had another tattoo removal treatment which was OK but they are so painful. I had wine with lunch so it eased it ha ha.. didn't even look at any shoes lol. I was on the look out for some GHD golds though but they are bloody £119!!! so didn't get any just yet. But had a lovely day and then went round our bestmans house for a chinese last night :o) diet was out the window. FI has got us one of those Marks meal's for two for today for Valentines as he is on a late shift tomorrow and i wont see him so we are having valentines today and gonna sit in with kids and watch Toy Storey 3. ha ha a chilling day today!

Happy Sunday everyone :o) xx

Michelle - That sounds like a perfect Sunday to me just chilling with the kiddies and FI love it xxx

Nicy - Good luck with the job interview....... Theres nothing worse than hating your job.... I went through something similar about 4 yrs ago, I am an estate agent and have been for over 10yrs I got a new job as a branch manager of another agent and the area manager was a complete bitch.... I used to wake up and cry cos I didn't want to go to work :-(, she would tell lies to the staff about me and then lie to me about the staff..... I left to go and work for another agent same job and it was fantastic but when the credit crunch came they closed, I now work for my friend and she is wonderful when the housing market picks up (if ever!!!!) we are going to go into business together :-( Sometimes these shitty jobs happen for a reason and I now would never let that happen again and I would stand up for myself. xxxx SO GOOD LUCK XXXXX

Leanne - HAPPY BIRTHDAY XXXXX What a wonderful prezzie, I would love to get away to some sun xxxxx I think my FI will be wearing a stone coloured suit, jacket for the ceremony.

Nicy - Your AHR sounds wonderful, we have booked ours and our room is free, we are having a slideshow of our photos, thinking of having mexican cocktails for the women when they arrive and mexican beer for the men (only one each), the place where we are having it has just been refurbished so we don't have the decorate it and we will be having a buffet. :-)

Thanks fingers crossed, i dont htink ive ever wanted anything so much!!! I dont think there is anything worse than hating your job, as you spend 80% of yor time there... my motto is "You work to live not live to work"

I know people dont particually like working its a fact of life and we all have to do it but i think there is a massive differerence in not liking having to work and hating it... and like you crying every day about having to go there....

I will let you know how i get on x

As we are very very very strapped for cash as all our savings have gone on Mexcio!! (same for most no doubt) anyway, i have been speaking to people lately as i didnt want to book somewhere and not have many turn up, also my famly live like 270 ish miles away and i have a HUGE family and i didnt know if most would travel, my dad has informed me today that he has spoken to people and they would, whic is a relief.... I spoke to another friend who has informed me that the football club in my town hire's out their function room for free!!! Getting on the phone first thing...this same friend also does cakes so she will do ours for us, my other friend well he hubby is a DJ, so i sent her a message before about maybe having him DJ for us. I think i would prob do my own food, just a buffet or something!!! I think we can do this on the cheap.... but still quite classy!!! The room its self isnt a big swish hotel as you prob gather with it being a footy club but for me thats not an issue i just want to celebrate our marrage with all our family and friends... and with it being at the local footy club  massive bonus is that the drinks are cheap cheap cheap :-)

My mums neighbour makes wedding invites etc so im going to ask her if she will do them for me.....

OKAY so those of you having an AHR, what else will i need????? Argh, im getting excited all over again :-)

 offtopic2.gif now :

AND AND AND again some of you will know i HATE my job with a passion and i have applied for 27 jobs in the last 3 months all of which were thanks but not thanks :-(

Well anyway a guy i work with his fiance works at a toyota garage and they are looking for a receptionist/telephonist so i applied... And low and behold i have an interview on Tues 15th!!! strangly i was off work in the afternoon anyway as i had a docs apt (which i have re-arranged) so i have arranged the afternoon off anyway... bonus.... My mums neighbour (the husband of the lady who make invites) is a General Manager or Honda in Southport and i messaged him and he is going to give me tips in an email of what they will be looking for etc....

Im just hoping now that 2011 really is my year... im not holding my breath though as im crap in interviews and i just know i'll prob blow it!!! but i need out of my current job so badly that im scared to death of this interview as i have never wanted something so much!!!

anyway watch this space and i'll let you know on Tues how i think it went and let you now the out come.......

Fingers crossed for me ladies and send me good luck vibes, PLEASE!!!! :-)

focus.gif now :

Only 11 weeks tomorrow now until i fly out..... I cannot believe it, it dosent seem real, feels like all this is happening to someone else!!! AND i still have NOT had any wedding dreams..... I want one, i think im the only one who hasnt????

I think we might get a wee flowergirl dress for Amélie and then at least we have it if she is going to be good for the job! :-) Who know what we will get though......

Josie..... How did your AHR go? Miss having you around here girl x

Michelle..... How was your day with your mum and sis......? :-) x

So pleased to hear about your interview hun...fingers crossed for you, let me know how it goes xxx

OMG girls I went out on Friday night just to my mates for what was supposed to be a few drinks.  I told Wayne that i'd be home at a "respectable" time and definitely no later than 1am...well by the time it got to 1am we had the dressing up box out, I don't remember much but the pictures i've got on my phone are something else...i'm dressed in a moulon rouge outfit with a blonde curly wig and a batman eye mask on wtf...i just remember laughing so much that my ribs hurt, i ended up rolling in my house at 7am still very much off my nut, woke Wayne up because I needed somebody to talk to (he wasn't impressed but coped with the mess that is his wife to be pretty well) I didn't get to sleep until 1pm but woke again at 5.30pm.  I'm still feeling so rough and the thought of going to work tomorrow is depressing and i didn't make it to church this morning (feeling a little guilty about that). I never learn, i'm such a greedy cow and never no when to stop...lol.  NEVER AGAIN though!!!

Hi Girls - I've just checked my e-mails and my wedding co-ordinator at the hotel has just confirmed that our wedding is now 3pm (feel so much better cos that is the time I wanted) and she has sent all my choices through the bouquets, the wedding cake and menu choices I am so excited!!!!! :-)) The gazebo at the moment is not available as it is located in the area where the explosion happened but it should be ready by Oct at the moment they have a Yuppa on the beach so she has sent a photo of that and it looks lovely... xxx I'm happy happy happy.

    • We just had a destination wedding and both my girls were flower girls!  The dresses from princessly were perfect!  Lots of complements! Would definitely recommend them!  Very reasonably priced.
    • I just want to say I got the best flower girl dresses on Princessly. It was very reasonably priced, they customized the dress to fit my daughter and it came within a couple of weeks. My daughter looked amazing and so did her cousin (who also wore the dress). The company was so easy to deal with and I’m so happy I chose them! Here are a couple of pics!
    • Hello, I'm new to this site. I got engaged already and get married by next year. I have some doubts regarding our dating destination. Hope you will help me. Thank You!
    • Hello everyone,
Well, this upcoming valentine's day is special for me because I got engaged and planning to spend the day with my fiance. I'm planning to give her an ethical jumpsuit.

Other than that I have been searching the internet for some nice discounted coupons and searched among my friends and found different sites. Now, we are looking forward to that wonderful day. We searched a lot and found out, Escape The City. Orangeville is a great place for a day trip or weekend gateway from Toronto.
Theatre Orangeville is offering a weekend package that includes 2 tickets to a Live performance at the theatre, Premium Overnight Accommodations at Best Western Plus Orangeville Inn and Suites and $75 Downtown Wine and Dine Voucher which is valid at select Downtown restaurants, and Free Entry to the scenic Trails & Bridges of Island Lake.

We are so excited and eagerly waiting for that day.
If anyone has got any other suggestions for the venue, kindly share your thoughts/ideas.
      Thank You!

    • Please tell me, the best wedding venue in Saskatoon, SK.
