Charmaine the dress is lovely a proper fairytale dress. I love all the sparkle!! I am dying to show everyone my dress as I love it sooooo much. I just want to keep going round my mums and try it on hehe.

Congrats on the new booking michelle, we are also up to 23 going now as we had 5 book last week its a nice feeling isn't it. I also love the figures they are great.

We are having a dilema at the moment with what to do for DJ and photographer. The recommended DJ hasnt got very good reviews but to use outside vendor we have to pay a $500 fee and same with the photographer. What to do?????

Ooo congrats CamlovesJA will go and have a read.....

Thanx Herbie - I dont think anyone else will book up. Lauren was a maybe for a long time and their is another friend (family of 5) who showed interest but dont think they will book now... Have you got more to book?

We had the same thing with our photographer. We are having to pay $300 to have an outside company do them. It is a joke but they are your wedding pix and thats what it boiled down to with us. We um'd and arr'd for a while over it but thought we wont get that day back and want the best reminder we can.

Dont have the DJ problem though as not having a 'reception' if you like out there. Just drinks in the piano bar and maybe move onto the club (if mum babysits, lol)

Its so hard deciding isn't it.... sorry i'm not much help am i...

We have possibly got a few more to book, who will leave it till the last minute (jay's friends).

We are having a private reception after the wedding in a location by the pool, we was just going to do the ipod and sound system thing but as there are more going we thought we needed a DJ. It still works out cheaper than resort one though (resort one $1500, outside $800 + $500 fee). I'm really unsure who to use for photographer, who are you all using????

Char you look stunning in your dress & your figure looks amazing.....big bazookas & a tiny waist.....I've got the opposite,,,,,big waist & tiny bazookas!!!!....lol......very pretty honey :)

I know I could find this out if I looked back on the thread but where are you guys all getting married?  which hotels?  Did you have a list Nicy of dates & hotels?  I am completely lost of whos next & where!!

My cake topper arrived today, I will post a picture once I've taken one, it is Superman carrying Lois Lane so cute, we also ordered the wedding cake knife & server which has ribbon on them & a little superman emblem & our champagne flute again with ribbon & the superman sign on....sounds tacky but super cute!!  Got Richards documents all posted off for translation today as well & going Lakeside on saturday to try some shoes on 2 bridesmaid who are 11 & 12....they are desperate to wear a heel......so it all seems like I'm getting somewhere at the minute......what do you think of the shoes girls?.....truthfully do you think they are suitable for 11 &12?

Don't know why they have come up so small but you get the idea.

Thats a good idea Herbie could you ask them to just pay one vendor fee. I tried to get out of paying the $300 because we are using the onsite company for our video but they were having none of it. Its in their contract so we had to just swallow it in the end.

We are using the Dreams hotel chain photographer. They are called Adventure. Here is a sample of their work....

Very nice company and very quick with response.

Lisa i like the shoes but it would depend on the heel height and what they looked like on really. I'm sure you'll know once you've seen them in the flesh :o)

Which ebayer did you get your wedding dress travel box from? I have still got to order mine ;o)

I ave asked and they said no, and today they have put the fee up to $800 per vendor. So there is no chance of getting the ones I want now :-(

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
