Josie we are all the same BUT i had so much to do as we had our 6 kids (trust me the bigger ones were worse) plus three of there friends and Pauls mum and dad and my mum to worry about that i did a clean before my mum arrived and that was it.On the day we left i let it all go and our wedding/holiday began.I guess what im saying is on the one day you have get the packing done then give yourself a couple of hours to clean whats not done dosent matter. In all honesty the dust will of settled and once you empty the suitcases of all your dirty washing the place will look a tip.You will have junk mail etc so girly do what you can loos bathrooms hoovering mopping and your done.Dont turn into bridzilla lol x

Leave time to open a bottle of bubbly before you leave.I went into town 10 miles away every day for the last four days i think i had antsy pants though.

We got Pauls suit from suits you at the designer outlet its closed now but i think moss bros had some coloured linen. If you remember the suit was baby blue in colour and the boys wore the linen trousers with white shirts from Matalan the shirts were £12 bargain !! just as well as i had 6 to buy and then Pauls dad left the whole outfit in the wardrobe at home !!!!!!!!!!!!

The linen suit came in baby blue white baby pink and lemon.Josh had the lemon one for a wedding we went to in New york the year before.I loved the lemon one with a baby blue shirt. The shops are starting to get some summer things in i think by March they will be stocked right up.The boys wore white flip flops from top man and Paul had white birkenstocks. I hope that helps xx

hey everyone we have bought our wedding rings!! we even did a bit of negotiating on the price as we could pay with cash! so we are both really happy! i love mine! i was struggling to get a ring to match my engagement ring as the ring is a square princess cut diamond so all of the wedding rings didn't fit right with it but i found one with a tiny dip in it so it fits perfectly! smile159.gif

everything seems to be coming together nicely.

What are you doing for gifts for the men? I like the idea os engraved hip flasks but haven't 100% decided. God I am going to need ALOT of extra baggage allowance lol x

No luck with the wedding undies, but i did get some nice bits out of ann summers and la senza in the sale! ;o)

Is it terrible that although we are having a destination wedding nothing is really beachy about our wedding? Not the colours or flowers or invites or OOT bags. They are all pink or brown!! The only thing that is destination like is the starfish favours, lol.... oh well it's our day and our taste i suppose! Bringing the UK to Mexico, hee hee x

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
