hi nicy,

the site is trulycreativegifts.com

if you have any questions, email Tanya from the site, shes lovely and really helpful.

my fiance and the other men are wearing smart trousers shirt waistcoat and cravat. i just can't get away with the linen suits as its not something any of them would usually wear. theres a hire place in town that hires the outfits out specifically for weddings abroad so the trousers are really lightweight.x

FI has gone with a linen suit from Debenhams which cost £90 - he will probably never wear it again but then when will I ever wear my dress again so I dont feel it is money wasted really and we were working with a budget.   He will wear a white shirt and turquoise tie.

Generally speaking I am a laid back person, maybe a little too much but I just seem to be running out of time for wedding things and we leave a week tomorrow.  Saturday we are busy all day, Sunday we will have to go round delivering the tickets as our flight time on the way back has changed so they have today reissued the tickets, Monday night I am actually free, Tuesday night getting my hair done and FIs brother in laws bday meal,  I then finish work on Wednesday at 1pm and then go and get my eyebrows done, Thursday morning manicure and pedicure - 2pm Thursday we get the train to the hotel as our flight is at 8.15 so thought we would stay overnight to make it easier.  When am I ever going to get my huge pile of washing done and pack and most importantly stop FI from wearing all his clothes that he wants to take with us but doesnt understand I am running out of time to wash and iron them!!!!!  AAAAArrrrghhhhhhh - rant over - I am offically turning into Bridezilla 7 days before we leave :-))))

Also I dont know if this is a woman thing but whenever we go away I have to clean our flat from top to bottom and leave it spotless - why oh why do I do this the only one who will see it is the cat and our neighbour coming in to feed her - FI just laughs!  He is currently in bed snoring his head off - life is so easy for men!  lol

I think we'll end up with loads. I got starfish wine bottle stoppers which are cute for the men but FI said they were to girlie so i got the starfish beer bottle openers aswell. The ladies i have ordered starfish bookmarks and mum wants to get them these little hanging heart things too. Little girls at the mo i have a disney book and pen set. Not sure what to get the 1yr old or 13yr old boy though.... ideas??

What are you girls wearing under your dresses? my first dress fitting is on 21st Feb and they've told me to bring shoes and underwear with me that i'm wearing on the day. Haven't even thought about the undies! I have NO boobs so i'm thinking a gel plunge bra? and matching thong?

We also booked our hair trial for 26th Feb! I canny wait i will post pix when its done. SO excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Josie - ha ha bridezilla away i'm sure i'll be the same. You are so busy you'll prob lose half a stone this week running around! And yes i also clean the house from top to bottom before holidays. I dunno why i stress about it but i do. I like to come home to a nice clean tidy house :o)

Nicy - FI, FI's dad and Best man are wearing a suit trousers and jacket from Next. Harrison will wear the trousers with the matching waistcoat. All with open coller white shirts. :o)

hey michelle,

i also have 2 little flower girls (5 yr old & 18 months old) so will need a little book & pens. I also have an 11yr old & 13 yr old nephew but have no idea yet what to get them! My 16 yr old nephew will get a shot glass. lol

i also have no boobs! is your dress strapless? mine is and i have seen a strapless bra which is half padded so it pushes your boobs up! then with the dress on i think it will look as if I actually have boobs!

i started my wedding diet on monday and doing very well so far, been snacking at work on beansprouts!! lol

I think turning to bridezilla only 7 days before the wedding is brilliant, im scared ill be like it for weeks!!! LOL :-)

FI said he is worried about the wedding, as he knows i get het up about all sorts so easily, and hes worried when walking towards him he will see me crying but not for the right reasons.... but because my hair is wrong or its too hot and my make up wont sit or just something else not being right!!!! Ive told him when he looks me in the eye and sees the tears he will know they are tears of joy not sadness!!! And i siad the only reason i would be P'd off is if it rained!!! haha x

I think he is having wedding nightmares.........

I am yet to have a wedding dream x

Yeh Lyndsey my dress is strapless. I did think about having some cups sown in but thought i might just buy a bra? i might have a nosey around tomorrow!

Nicy the next catalogue has changed and all suits look different but i think this is FI's one. Its says stone but it's more light brown! He'll wear with open white shirt no tie :o)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
