Not sorted the dress yet... i have a dilema where the dress is conderned :-(

(sorry Michelle, you'll have read this twice now)

I love the new dress but cant find a knock off one online, and we dont think we can afford the real one :-(

I have found a stockist in warrington so am going to go with my mum n sis when im back home so im praying my mum loves it that much she will want to pay half..... haha!!!!

normally i would ask her coz i am a bit of a cheeky bitch like that, but i cant ask, as my parents are forking out alot to come to Mexico when they cant really afford so no way im not that much of a cheeky bitch... lol :-)

Also trying to arrange a get together with my mum n FMIL as well to try on, and not that im devious or anything but hoping also they will both fall in love and want to both put some to it!!! LOL

Love the starfish Nicy - its really lovely.

There are knock off sites where you send them your measurements and a photo of the dress and they make a mock up of it and send you pictures - you are not committed to buying it either - I cant for the life of me think which website it is as someone I used to work with used it.  Anyone else know?

I am now coming off of the internet as I got a £100 bonus from work today and have spent the whole lot this evening on wedding things as it was money we werent expecting and we would probably have only wasted!  I dont want to put anything for the wedding on a credit card so any spare cash goes straight to the wedding fund!  In 3 hours I have purchased (mainly from ebay)....lol!

1.  My handbag ( I wasnt going to have one until you girls started buying them and then I HAD to add one to my list)

2. 10 x Turquoise chair sashes

3. 10 x Gold chair sashes

4. Bubble wands

5. The rest of the silver bookmarks for the ladies favours

6. FOG engraved cufflink box (we already had some cufflinks made)

7. Engraved antique jewellery box for MOB

I could spend spend spend all night. LOL.

Nicy - I ordered a knock off dress months and months ago to make sure it would be ok to use, it was AMAZING! Really well made I was super happy, only downside for me was i've lost so much weight since then I think alterations to the current dress will out weigh the cost of ordering another one (I paid £120 if that for mine)

I am planning to possibly order another dress and my BM dresses from gianniar:

http://www.gianinar.com/web/html/w/Contactus.htm

http://stores.ebay.co.uk/gianinarbridal

Sent them pictures of what I wanted paid $60 dollars or around that they make the dress send you pictures and you decide if you want the dress then you pay the additional to have it sent.

The only downside I found was that I ordered a white dress and it did have some pin marks, very small not that anyone else would notice but you potentially might. Altho not heard any of the other girls have this...

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
