How crazy, and our wedding dates are 1 day different (Hopefully if you get your date) :)

Thanks for your reply, TC have told us we need to get our full Birth Certs translated into spanish, then have them certified by a spanish speaking solicitor and then they have to be sent to the legalisation office in Milton Keynes to have the legalised. We are then supposed to carry them with us. Then you have the blood test when we get there.

Jazmin our wedding co-ordinator who works for the hotel has told us we just need our passports and our green tourist cards and then the blood test. Jazmin has never mentioned Birt certs.

We haven't been married before and we are not adopted. We are totally stressed about the whole thing! :(

Hows things going for you?

Hi Jo

I have only been told that we need our passports, tourist cards and blood tests too.  I was quite worried about it as TC were saying one thing and the hotel wedding co-ordinators something different.  I have decided to go with what the wedding co-ordinators advised me as I have spoken to some other brides and that was all the docs they needed.

Hi Dominique

Congratulations on getting booked up and happy planning :) It may feel like ages away but it comes round soooo fast! I fly 6 weeks yesterday, felt as tho I had ages to plan but all of a sudden its here!

Im still unsure on centerpieces, got soooo much other stuff to take, I think I will rent a few vases and maybe use the bouquets. Have you chose your dress? x

My dress is tafetta satin, with a few layers underneath it...I will be sweating buckets proberley but as soon as I put the dress on, I knew that was the one!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
