hope your all ok.

i have changed my name now with work & the bank :) my new bank cards came on saturday woohooo still doesnt feel right though.

how lush is the weather x

I know what you mean, so hard to get used to, its like i always new i was changing my name and used to joke about it but now its real its wierd, I love it but ive had my old name for 32 years and now its just gone....

Its wierd for me to as I work in a building sociey and the "authorised" signature I use to sign cheques hasnt yet changed to my married name, so not only am i trying to get used to signing my new name everywhere i have to remember to sign my "old" name on cheques until the bank of england has changed it over!! SOOO Im forcing myself to do my "new" name but am constantly hesitating as i really have to think about what official documents im signing...lol, hope it will be much easier when they have the right sig on record!!!

I love having conversations though which involve Stephen... im like

"oh i said to my HUSBAND this and I said to my HUSBAND that" and so on!!! hehe :-)

& I love that my name badge now has my married name on!! Ooooo the small things, and all my diarys and outlook etc has now changed... making it more and more official day by day :-) x

Hey Ladies!!  Where are you all!!  Very quite on here.....us old married women want to hear more of all your planning....we need to stalk you all....lol

I had a lovely email yesterday from our WC in resort to say that it was a pleasure dealing with me & was lovely to meet all of our family.  She said she is coming over to London in September & wanted to know if me & Richard were available to meet up for a meal & drink....how lovely is that, I also met our travel agent for lunch at the weekend!! We became really friendly over numerous phone calls in the last year & got on like a house on fire. Its like I've now got a whole new wedding family....lol!!

Wow i havent been on in a while and you are right it is SO quiet on here. Hope you are all well and ok, married ladies and brides to be!!!

Still have holiday blues, still longing for another holiday but have been so busy with work etc and i'm also finally putting my creative side to work. After years of my mum, and now husband hee hee going on at me i am going to make and sell home made signs etc...

I have a few orders already so hoping it takes off and i can start my holiday fund ha ha...

I will attach a pic for you. They are wooden letters, primed and hand painted by myself. Can do any name, any colour. I will also be doing home signs...... home, love, cake, bake etc for the kitchen walls. The big letters likes Scarlett's name are £4 a letter and I can do a smaller letter for £3 a letter. Could also do wedding words for you brides ha ha.. Hubby has also suggested boys football teams in their colours for the young lads rooms.... I have so many ideas so watch this space. If you know anyone that is or will be interested please let me know by private message (as will go direct to my email). I am making a friends naming day sign and also a 'baby' one for one of my mates neighbours who is having a baby! So perfect presents too. They can be easily stuck to any wall or door with sticky tabs or i have used white tack as doesnt mark the walls and can move around the room as i wish with no holes, drills or nails required.....

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
