Thanks Char i have no idea why she came either. Even at our BBQ on sunday she didn't breath a word to me or my family! She is horrible. FI just cannot see it. My BM said i hid the dislike well and had she not known about the tension she wouldn't have guessed as there was no atmosphere. That is all i want for Mexico. So i will do exactly the same and if i get the chance to have a quiet dig at her when and if we are alone i will take great pleasure in doing so!!

Apparently she's been telling my BM's how much she's looking forward to it all - as we've said before its all for show. I mean doesn't she think its odd that she makes the effort to talk to everyone except her DIL and family! Weird weird woman. I will breath a sigh of relief when we are home and i have NOTHING to do with her again! :o)

I love the car and cake they are really lovely. Good choice :o) its all coming together x

I am fairly new to this site and am getting married in November in Mexico, to say I am a little bit excited is an understatement!!! It looks like all your wedding are coming up - I bet you are all excited? Any tips or advice for a newbie?

Hi Carrie

Welcome to the site, this site is an absolute godsend! All the girls are lovely on here, some of us have been on here for past 18mths-year an are now not long away from getting married and some have only just joined. We're all here to help eachother in any way we can. My advise is to spend some time and read through the past pages.

Any question just ask and someone might be able to help.

Details now which hotel you getting married at? Date? How may going?

Enjoy the site

Sounds great thanks for the advice Michelle, I've been looking and there is so much useful stuff on here so glad I found you all. We are getting married at the Dreams Tulum hotel in Mexico on 10 November and I cannot wait!!!!! There are going to be around 20 of us going out for it. I am just starting to decide on things like colours, locations etc its so much fun. Where and when are you getting married?

 Hello ladies :)))

Thank you to all of you for compliments about invites :)))xx

@Michelle, our MILs sound so alike, mine too in public with other people pretends that everything is perfect, but then gets me or my FI alone and spils all the crazy lol...its upsetting and I dont see point of her doing it, but as I like to look at it, life is too short to even try to understand what is happening in that woman's head :D Hope you will be able to avoid her on your big day sweetie!!!xoxo

@Char - can I just say that you are a saint hon!!! Working, studying, exams, wedding planning and worring about your girl passing GCSE's too, WOW!!! I just hope that it all goes well to both of you :)))x

Your car and cake look fantastic too, - love vintage cars!!! :D Just cant even imagine where on earth are you finding all this energy and time to do it all sweetie!

xoxo

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
