Oh Michelle poor thing....i real feel for you!!!...i never had an infection but had kidney stones!!!...so can relate on the pain!xx

You shouldn't feel guilty at all on treating yourself a little with a nice doughnut when ill :D I do it all the time and i swear it helps me get better sooner :D So just try to rest as much as you can and in a day or two you should feel much better! :)x

Do you mind me asking.. with the kidney stones do they pass on their own or do you have to have them removed? The doc did mention these when i was in there as the pain is more to one side (left) today i have really bad shooting pains on the lower left - feels like a pulling feeling and wondering if it is stones and not a water infection. Tab's not really do much yet either..... getting really fed up now :o(

Ask away hun lol :D kidney stones can most of the times pass by themselves, but if they are bigger doctors might use some ultrasound thingy (lol sorry no idea what it is called) it makes bigger stones break and they become smaller and then  you pass them later on...i never had them that bad thank god!!! You should really go back to your gp if you still feel so unwell and meds don't help too hun...

Don't want to panic you in any way, but I had similar pains as you describe,... but you can never tell where they are coming from, but if your gp will give you urine test he should see if it is because of kidney stones!

I had mine while me and my FI lived in Denmark for a year...so was quite scared cos thought i might have appendicitis and didn't have gp there as well(luckaly almost everyone speaks english there very well!)...so went to A&E and they sorted me out lol :D gave me some super duper painkillers and they helped and after about 3 weeks they have done another test and stones were gone, yay!!! :D

But either way, I think you should also fallow Mel's advice and drink as much fluids as possible in the mean time , cos this way if there is something there it will come out real soon and you will feel much better!!!:))xxxx

Take care love and keep us up to date on how you feel and what your gp will say!!!

Really hope you will feel better soon...

xoxo

Thanks so much for that, the more the day goes on the more i think it is stones. The pain has eased slightly from my back and more at the front left hand side now. I have been drinking water by the gallon today so hoping if there is something there it will flush out. I have a few more days worth of tab's so i think i will see how i go on them and drink lots of water and if still rough go back to the doc's monday. It is so painful though. I've never known anything like it. Frustrating me though cos i want to work out and get fit for Mexico but have no energy to do it and dont want to make things worse :o(

Gosh hope it dont take another 3 weeks to get better, but glad i'm home feeling like it and not away like you were

Thanks for all your help though girls :o) xxx

Michelle you are welcome! :)))x And you are right as you are at home with your family it makes things like that a little better :))) I was freaking out back then really badly lol and pain was quite bad was feeling like i am in labor or smth lol :D

But anyway hun drink loads of water and maybe try putting hot water bottle on your back it might sometimes ease the pain and if you still feel bad definitely go back to the doctors!!!

And don't worry about working out too much, all that matters that you are well and healthy! :)

So last night was a very nice quite day for me for a change and I was looking forward to have some dinner with my FI and unwind in the front of tv with a nice glass of wine.....but obviously it didn't happen...

Checked my email before dinner and saw urgent email from our photographer (HDC) (well we haven't booked him yet but were going to in a month), they are super awesome and their pictures are perfect!

...so he wrote that Dreams hotels, where we will be staying and having our wedding, are changing their policy and won't allow outside photographers take pictures on their property!!!!! WTF???!!!!!...forgive my language!

So was trying to figure out what can we do...apparently ppl who already booked are fine, Dreams will honor the contract and still allow photographers to be at the wedding! The problem was that we haven't booked them...luckily lovely HDC man offered to sign contract back dated (without even paying him deposit) and he would say to Dreams that we have already booked before they came up with this crazy new policy!

So hopefully now we still have our photographer for the wedding!!! :))) So even though it looks like everything ended well after all, I got sooo stressed, so skipped dinner and went for a wine straight away lol :D

Hope you all had better evening last night...and its Friday today yay!!! :D

xoxo

Thanks Girls, god you must all think i'm some sort of Hypercondriac.... i've never been this ill, its madness.... still not 100% today, gonna give it the weekend and then go back to doc's. sick of the site of that place at the mo..:o(

Lyndsey can't wait to see your flowergirl dress and tiara :o)

Nicy hope you are feeling better now?

Amurka - OMG stress and then relief. How nice is that of your photographer. He'll prob do all he can for you to make sure he gets the contract and so nice for you that he will... honestly these hotels take the biscuit changing their policy's all the time! Just add's stress to us brides...

I haven't done anything weddingy in ages.... Harrison's having his suit altered on monday but that's about it. Going shopping with FI on sunday so will try and get Harrisons shoes then too

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
