No they dont know i've got them. But i think they will ask about jewellery etc now its getting closer and we're having our hair done. I think i might do it sat and then yeh give my sisters to her when i see her next. I dont see her much she is a director of a catering firm (and actually my boss) so always at work or away with work or off on her holidays (she's in US at the mo) so dont get to see her as much as i'd like. Its her birthday in March though so sure we'll have a get together then x

Michelle You should be able to find small size brown shoes in Next i think

I also think they stock small suits if not suits im sure thet do the little linen trousers and waistcoats.

Kiwimel The images we have seen coming from Christchurch have been hard to watch.Lets hope more miracles happen over the next few days.I hope all your friends and family are safe Thinking of you xx

My poor mum is back in hospital!!!!!!!!!!

I spoke to her yesterday morning and was surprized she didnt call me in the late afternoon to see how i was doing with my bathroom makeover.I called her at tea tme and there was no answer.I rang at about 7.30 and my brother answered and said oh didnt you know she was rushed to hospital with her gall bladder.At about 11.00 she started getting bad pains she wouldnt let dad ring the dr but by 1.00 she said call him.He arrived 20 mins later and hed called the ambulance she was n a cold sweat so was unsure if she was having a heart attack.

Anyway she was tansfered to Limerick over an hours drive from her home where she remains on a drip.The annoying thing is she was due to have the gall bladder removed at the end of this month after her last flair up when they gave her 6 weeks of antibiotics.Apparantly the gallbladder cant be removed if its inflammed.A letter arrived today with a date for surgery the 7th march.I ust hope she dosent have to wait long now cos our holiday back to Zante is th 22nd May.

Ive not spoken to her today as my dad packed the hospital bag and left her charger.He meant to take it today and had packed it but took it all out to check it was there and left it behind.I wouldnt of wanted to of been in his shoes when she realized !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shes very pissed at the moment wanting to come home cos she thinks theyve done nothing with her at all today except move her to a different ward.

My dad arrived at the ward hed left her in last night to be told shed gone to say c1 he arrived to be told no Patricia ohalloran here.He went to every ward and then went back to the first one again the nurse turned around and said loudly theres no Mrs Patricia Ohalloran here is there to which she got Patricia Ohalloran? umm no.My dad then heard yep here my mum was lying in the bed had been there for much of the morning WTF

They had her as Patricia OGorman!!!! her address is 1 OGorman st.

No wonder shes fed up bless her she will go mad if they send her home and cancel her op for the 7th likewise if my dad forgets the phone charger tomoz he will need a hospital bed

OMG Roo that is terrible, how can they get her name wrong. What a joke. Your poor mum i bet she is so fed up! Finger's x'd they dont change her op date. x

I know Next did do brown shoes for boys but haven't seen any recently. I'll have to have another trip over to bluewater see what i can find x

So excited, hair trials tomorrow and its only 2mths and 29days till we go now

Girls how annoying is it when the WC's dont reply to your emails. I mean i'm quite laid back and i know they are super busy but we are just under 3mths now and really want some feedback... I emailed about 6wks ago and still haven't heard back. I know everyone says itll be ok and you can arrange it all when your out there etc etc but the one thing i want for our wedding day is to have our meal in our chosen choice of al a cartes... our hotel is a nightmare for getting booked in the al a cartes and really want the WC to confirm we can have it!! It is the only thing i am very concerned about. Everything else i think, what will be will be and 'it'll be alright on the night' but this ONE thing i would really like. I mean she hasn't been intouch for months and i've not been sent flower examples or anything. So think ok i can go through all that out there with her but surely they need to give you some kind of feedback!!! honestly... head, brick wall... bang bang....

Michelle - I think it is a lovely idea to give the earrings with the hair trials as Nicy says it will probably come up. And I am sure your sister won't mind and like you said you can always give them on her birthday xxx Have you tried the Next catalogue for the brown shoes or their website??? I think I would be really frustrated if the WC wasn't getting back to me this close to the wedding.... I have had my a la carte choices.... Haven't made a decision yet... What timescale do these choices need to be made as I haven't chosen my bouquet, cake etc I haven't even chosen a colour scheme yet..... I am thinking of either turquoise or coral... What are all your colour schemes?? I know Nicy is aqua and Michelle pink :-))))))

Can't see anything on Next that is suitable for Harrison to wear in next... maybe when there summer catalogue comes out they may have some. Not sure when it comes out though. Hopefully march time.... I haven't chosen a thing to do with our wedding. Flowers, cake, cocktail hour food etc etc. I'm not too worried about that i'm more concerned about the actual evening meal. I have emailed Caribbean Warehouse (Bluebay) to see if they can help and also wrote on the wall of the hotel FB page! I know they do hundreds of weddings but this is MY wedding and important to me!

Samcalv1 - your dress is BEAUTIFUL! I just love it. I am sure you will look amazing in it!

I'm not much if a tiara/veil kind of girl so I have some beautiful art deco/1930's vintage drop earrings. My hair is long, dark and pain-in-the-arse curly. Do you think it would be too much to add a flower in there? I have to wear my hair up because of the back on my dress so I thought I might try a flower. Have you seen any nice ones around?

I thought of you when everything was going on in NZ. We've been donating at the red cross for aid. One of my colleagues is also from NZ and that's where his family is from and although they have everyone accounted for they are without electricity and water. Tough times :-( Hope everyone on your end is ok!

Nicy - Woo Hoo you've posted the invites, I can't believe your wedding is coming around so quickly...when I created this thread you were the first person to reply to me on the day that you booked your wedding and now you are weeks away from heading of to Mexico, time sure does fly. And although I keep moaning about how long i've got until my wedding I had over 2 years to go when I started the thread and now i've got 16 months, still long I know but it feels as though it is going so fast xxx

Roo - i'm so sorry to hear that your mum is unwell, the hospital should be ashamed of themselves that is disgusting, you should put in a formal complaint.

Hi ladies

So remember I was telling you about the draping that i wanted on the golf club walls which is going to cost anywhere from Â£1500-Â£2000, well i'm still getting quotes so will hopefully get a cheaper price. I thought i'd show you some before and after pictures so you can see how they transform a room. We did think about doing it DIY but to tell you the truth i don't think we will be able to recreate the look and also my bridesmaids would have to get into the room in the morning and start setting it all up, which is not feasible. We both really like it so we're going to see if the budget can stretch but we're not going to kill ourselves for it.
