Hi Ceri

I'm only frustrated as i'm waiting to here if she has now confrimed the right place for our privent reception  as she booked the wrong one (not happy). We are aslo having beach gazebo near pier and then Zavaz plaza for reception (hopefully). We are having Doremixx DJ for us as it was cheaper than resort one and he has good reviews. We are having Cabrie do our photos she splitting her time for us 2:30-5 then coming back 6:30-9 (so we are lucky there as they dont normally split time). I am keeping on about the offers to us in the hope they will crack on that one (fingers crossed). As far as gazebo decorations go i'm having the exotic gazebo, and am still debating on bringing my own chair bows. Everything is so expensive! Are you having a cocktail hour? what time are you getting married and having your reception. Our ceremony is at 3pm and reception 6-10, not quite sure what we will do inbetween yet. We have 23 going 19Adults and 4 children at the moment still might have a few book. Did you know the children are half price of the private event price, i only knew this because i asked my wc didnt inform me before.

When we went to Mexcio before we went to Xcaret, which we loved and are looking into going there again, bit of something for everyone.

I got the fans off ebay. A pack of 12 from Hong Kong and they were about £5. There are 10 women in the group. No not doing anymore. The men can share and use these if they want, lol. I'm guessing they wont bother.

And that reminds me, what kind of invitations did you all go for? I was thinking to get boarding pass invitations from Etsy...i know it is a little bit risky cos they are based in US, but thought I will try cos they are sooo pretty...

Thanks :-) Originally we wanted a bride & groom.. Beach themed but i couldnt find one cheap enough... they were always about £30-£40 which i just cant justify paying for a cake topper which will get used max twice if we have a AHR. Then i just thought i like the idea of out initials and these are quite a good price, Came to about £15 in total with VAT and postage.

I made my invites :-) But i do love.gif the boarding pass invites they are v. cute :-) xox

Oh nicy dont be disheartened. Although i know how you feel. I've also been working out hard and being good 6days a week and not hardly lost anything. It p's me off too. So i've decided to STOP weighing myself. I am sticking to it and my clothes feel looser so it must be coming of from somewhere. So i'm just now going by how i feel in my clothes. Sod the scales, lol....

Have a lovely time hun, happy shopping :o)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
