The onsite DJ hasn't got very good reviews. There are about 5 photographers that they recommend, they look okay but will have to have a serious look at them.

Would you not opt for the ipod then? Is it worth paying out all that money for a DJ that isn't that great? I'm sure there will be a buzzing atmosphere with your wedding party on the day anyhow. Good luck i know we umm'd and arr'd for a while over our photographers. Decisions, decisions.....

Hi Ladies

 

I havent read all the posts but had to get out of the sun for a bit  - it is soooooooooo hot 29degs again today.

 

It rained torrentially our first day and since then it has been really hot - i think the wedding pics will be amusing some of our guests have sun burn as its also v breezy here.  Away from the sea though it is sooooooooo hot.

 

Saw one other wedding since we have been here and am so glad I didnt go for a big dress as although we get married at 4pm it is still really warm at that time!

 

Well only 3 days before the wedding and I still just feel like I`m on holiday!  Sending warm sunny wishes from Mexico xx

My cake topper arrived today, I will post a picture once I've taken one, it is Superman carrying Lois Lane so cute, we also ordered the wedding cake knife & server which has ribbon on them & a little superman emblem & our champagne flute again with ribbon & the superman sign on....sounds tacky but super cute!!  Got Richards documents all posted off for translation today as well & going Lakeside on saturday to try some shoes on 2 bridesmaid who are 11 & 12....they are desperate to wear a heel......so it all seems like I'm getting somewhere at the minute......what do you think of the shoes girls?.....truthfully do you think they are suitable for 11 &12?

Don't know why they have come up so small but you get the idea.

 

Love the idea of the superman & lois things.... adds a lot of fun to everything

 

Shoes are great... i think they are perfectly ok for 11 & 12 yr olds... the heels look small so yeah.... If the heels were high i would have said no.

I have a big dress but it wont go on till just before the ceremony and i'll be in air conditioned rooms. It'll only be the ceremony and photos i'm in the heat so think i'll just grin and bear it ha ha... Our meal is in air conditioned room so sure i'll be OK, lol. x

 

Nicy we fly with either Thomas Cook or Monarch! When we booked it was TC then they changed it to Monarch and said it could change again so i'll check both those diamentions out to be on the safe side )

 

JoanneIreland is now Sept I think i'm sure i see her on the Barcelo thread and her date was Sept. She hasn't been on here in a while :o/

Waybuloo.. I think the shoes are really sweet Bhs usually have some bridesmaid shoes with a little heal.We bought flip flops in the end from dotty ps as Amy was worried about blisters and they were a perfect match for her dress

got back to spain this lunchtime, have put wedding photos on fb, i´m joannameredith@hotmail.com if you want a look. i´m on load 4 of about ten washes.... was almost tempted to just burn all our dirty clothes and start again!

 

will post review when i can get my brain together, so sad it´s over, but had an awesome time.
