Thanks girls for all the hugs and kind words...thankfully the baby is on the mend, although all the tests are coming back 'normal' the doctors still can't give an explanation they are keeping her in for another week just to keep an eye on her...don't know how my cousin is ever going to relax though when she gets her home.

Josie...i love the BM gifts!

well done michelle, you´ll have the stone off in no time!

i´ve got to try and be good before i come back to the uk next week, although there aren´t enough points in a whole week to make up for the amount of eating and drinking (well, mainly drinking) i´m going to do when i get home! 3 days.... no kids no FI no responsibilities just me, my friends and the shops, the spa and the pubs! ahhh, bit excited, don´t know if you can tell!

One was that i've left my wedding dress at home forgotten to pack it and I was desperately trying to arrange someone to ship it with no avail sad.gif the second one was that for some reason i'd had no time to get ready so I just went down the asile and when I got back to my room I looked in the mirror and had no makeup on my hair was a mess, one of my bridesmaids wasnt wearing her dress cuz she couldnt find it and basically EVERYTHING had gone wrong!!!

It was awful sad.gif woke up really sad this morning because of it!

grrrr

Haha.... i still think brides are crazy having theses dreams.... BUT i am jealous and i want to join the crazy bin... I havent had one dream yet!!!!! But Kerry that made me laugh out loud :-) x

i haven't been on for a while becasue we've had more bad news this week...on Monday morning my cousin's 4 week old baby was rushed to hospital becasue she stopped breathing, went limp and turned blue, my cousin managed to resuscitate her but over the next couple of days it happened 3 more times...she is still in hospital and is now out of intensive care, it hasn't happened for a few days now but they are keeping her in for another week just incase.  All the tests are coming back 'normal' and the only explanation the doctors can give is that when baby's have heartburn it can be so intense and painful that they loose consciousness...the only problem is that she wasn't in pain she was in her mums arms and just went limp and stopped breathing so we are not buying that...I suppose the positive is that it hasn't happened again since Wednesday but my cousin is so scared to bring her home incase it happens when she is in her moses basket.

Also on Monday Wayne's grandad died, it has been one big rollercoaster of emotions and i'm trying to stay strong for Wayne but I was really close to his grandad and i just want to cry all the time but don't want to burden Wayne with my emotions...he seems so normal about it all but everybody keeps telling me that people deal with death in different ways.  We've got the 9 night (a caribbean tradition of celebrating the life of the person on the 9th night that they died) on Wednesday and then the funeral the week after...loads of family are starting to come over from America and 2 coach loads are coming down from Birmingham expecting about 200-250 people at the funeral so i've been busy helping with the preparations.

On a positive note my dad came out of hospital yesterday, he is still week but on the mend now so that is one thing of my mind.  With everything that has gone on over the last month or so i just feel so numb now i'm so tired and just want to cry all of the time.  Hopefully things will calm down soon and I can start to feel a bit normal again.

Bloody hell you are having a rough time of it..... thinking of you lots x and all involved x

I have got my 2 BMs a couple of gifts; ie; a luggage tag and manicure set each but wanted to give them something personalised but nothing too expensive as we have already got them their dresses, shoes and earrings!  So I came across a shop on ebay that does wooden gifts and they made two of these for me for £6 each.  They are really lovely and are just the sort of thing our BMs would love.  I dont think the photo just it justice really - even the other half liked them!! The heart at the bottom shows the wedding date.

Charmaine - what a time your having!!  & how worrying for your cousin.  I think men definitely deal with grief in a different way, I know when Richards nan died he just went quite & you just don't know what to do.  All you can do is be there & like others have said hopefully you have a friends shoulder to cry on xoxo

I got all my bridesmaids & pageboy gifts this weekend well ordered them....keeping in with my starfish theme I got all the girls engraved silver star trinket boxes & for the two little boys, who are car mad, little silver moneybox's in shape of mini's so cute!!

Michelle good luck with weight loss, inches are as good as pounds.....I have been doing a workout video everyday for the last two weeks have lost 4lb but an inch off waist...woohoo, legs have been killing me thought....all working towards the bikini bod though so hopefully will all be worth it.

Hi girls

Ive been lurking for a while with a heavy heart Pauls ex wife has contacted the CSA because she wants more money.Paul and i are sick with worry as we are already very over committed.I do feel a little better than i did yesterday but life is going to be very tough for us.I dont think i ever told you when we were first together i had my own home which had a small mortgage which would of been paid off in 2013.I sold that and we bought our home together and had an extension built to make another bedroom for Pauls son. Our mortgage IS 178000 interest only we have a car loan and credit cards. The CSA dont take any of this into account they just say they want 25% of his salary after tax etc.So basically one pay packet in four.We feel sick with worry and theres nothing we can do.She waited till we were married and Jamie moved down to her in June before pulling this trick. The most heart breaking thing is the kids wont see it her other half smokes drinks and gambles. They have blown almost £200000  from the sale of his wife who got killed payout and the pay off she got from the break upp of there marriage. They are both useless she started working last year doing 10 hours a week !!!!!! .Im working 50 as is Paul.We wont be in a position to buy the girls anything and christmas will be very poor. They loved coming to us on boxing day cos we always bought them nice things next, monsoon etc.I think now they will be lucky to have £40 each.

Pauls mum and dad kindly paid £900 into our account yesterday because they knew we were both in a state bless them and my mum has said shell send me some euros bless her.We are lucky to have such sweet generous kind parents.

On a positive note we are well we are not sick and Pauls boss said he will help us

I so badly want to give her a piece of my mind the thing i want to say the most is " there are residents at Howletts (local zoo) that have better parenting skills than you)

My brother suggested we try and get custody of them as she is so useless and Paul did text her with that idea she didnt come back with anything.

She had the hump because i didnt send the clothes back we bought Chloe for the wedding. He failed to tell her that she arrived with what she had on her body and a pink belt a pair of grotty flipflops she was wearing and a head full of nits. She didnt even pack a toothbrush.

Amy came with her toilet bag minus enough sanitry towels and the clothes she stood up in

AHHHHHHHHHHHH I COULD SCREAM

On  a lighter note you all are making progress with your shopping

Loving the dyed shoes fab colours

Loving the wooden bridesmaids gifts

Ive posted my wedding leftovers on the buy sell giveaway forum im going to add chloes flowergirl tutu if anyone is interested.

Oh and finally my wedding pictures are up

Sorry to post such a negative post not good first thing in the morning xx

Oh Roo I'm so sorry to hear what's happening with you at the moment. I really hope you get it sorted out. Remember that the children probably just enjoy being with you at Christmas for the love and care they get and not how much you spend on them. Big hugs to you. Xx

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
