Ok let me know what they say. As i didn't think you had to take your birth certs at all. Let alone have them apostiled.

I also got some starfish jewellery. Not for me but as gifts. It's gorgeous isn't it! x

Hey ladies I went to the national wedding show at Earls Court in Feb.  I went with my mum it was a good day out; i ordered my dress there as I got 20% off.  I would say what out for some right Bridzilla types.  I also got my tiara as it was end of season so they werent making that design and got it for £40 as it was the last one instead of £99!  For things like that it is great BUT most of it is not relevant to us DW brides unless you know what you want as there are hundreds of stands for  wedding cakes (some of them are amazing), photographers, wedding venue, cars etc.  But excellent for dresses and shoes.

You will have a ball I'm sure of it x

Im going to the Birmingham one - I little further away from me than London, although that made a great excuse for me and my bridesmaids to stay over the night! hee hee. I have already found my dress, so would just be after shoes and tiara really, but like you say we are going for the fun day out too. Find me by the chocolate fountain stand!

See how he liked it!!

Haha.... Yes definatly a wee bit gay i wuld say... nowt wrong with that... unless your marrying a woman!! Haha :-)

Such a funny program x

It is ridiculous and i'm sure it will be OK. Thousands of ppl have herpes! It's a virus for goods sake! I will go MAD if they say we can't marry because of this. I'm sure if it were that big a deal you would be warned or asked about it by your TA before travelling, surely?

Yes i'd like to know what the Doc says about those medicines too.

Jo - I would tell the girl you had the night organised already and want to stick with it as planned! Who is she to tell you what to do? I would be steaming. I have a friend who is a bit of an organiser. I dont mind but i am capable of organising things myself and when it comes to things i've arranged i'd be mad if someone else took over too! You tell her girl!!!

Im going to try and get in next week, if i can i will be sure to let you all know for sure :-) x

have just heard from one of my friends that when ants and i come back to uk in november without the kids, the night out  we had planned with all of our friends all together (a kind of get your liver in training for mexico event) has now been taken over by one of antonys friends girlfriends, who is a born organiser and who has decided that it would be better for the girls and boys to go out separately. wtf? i am going to have to kill her. she´s not coming to the wedding anyway (a million crap excuses, but tbh i´m glad she´s not coming as i don´t much like her).

i mean seriously, me and antony NEVER get time together away from the kids, we´re hardly likely to want to not spend it together. nope, that´s it. i´m going to have to facebook her with a big FUCK OFF AND STOP ORGANISING MY LIFE. this is the girl who requested we change our wedding date to fit in with her holiday allowance.....

ok i´m going now before i get thrown off the forum for swearing!!!!!

sorry to get everybody concerned about the blood tests.  i was thinking about it logically and although they say they test for herpes they can't possibly not allow you to get married if you test positive, 99% of the population must of had a coldsore at some point in their life....but why do they test for it then??  I would hate to get all the way to mexico and they tell me I can't get married...i've contacted the Mexican Consulate for clarification on what the blood tests are, i'll let you know when/if i hear back from them.

Jo...i love reading your posts you make me laugh so much...but seriously what a bitch, how dare she ask you to change your wedding date and then proceed to take over the night out...bloody cheek of it!!

Kerrie26....welcome.gifto the forum and congratulations on your wedding!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
