Good point Herbie!! We were going to wait till after xmas to get our wedding rings but we might put our deposits on them now and save the VAT increase!

 

Sounds like you had a good day yesterday. We went to Thorpe Park and had a lovely day. Although the toddler bit was closed off Scarlett went on a few things and enjoyed her day )

As we are getting married in January we both said yesterday we will get our rings in the sales after Christmas.  Forgot about the VAT increase.  Will def make sure I have everything done by the end of the year............... she says!!

I actually did something 'weddingy' today..... when we booked our wedding and holiday in November last year we knew who would and wouldnt be coming with us as we made the decision a couple of weeks before the brochure came out.  We never did any official invites to the wedding we just asked people so now we have our date confirmed I made the decision to do some invites for those coming.

 

I went down to Hobbycraft for all my sins this morning and spent the WHOLE afternoon making 10 invites - lol!  I'm pleased with the way they turned out and even FI said they were good and a nice touch especially for the parents.  I did one for my nan who cant come due to her health as well.

 

Simple but 'beachy' i think.......

Thanks for the comments on the invites - yes I did them on the computer this afternoon - that bit was ok - it was the sticking things together that took the time!!  And I am well known for not having any patience! lol.

 

I think those shoes would go great with the dresses.  My mum has a blue dress for the wedding and she has chosen silver shoes.  They look great together. x

Josie....Thank you i have ordered a pair to see what they look like although i am sure they will be fine, i was thinking silver or ivory but i think the ivory ones look to bridal!

Think we are going to have a look for our wedding rings in the january sales because of the VAT increase, i am hoping to have most of the bigger things paid for by then just so i don't get whopped the extra VAT (she say's lol)
