Hey everyone - like Kerry I cant keep up with whats going on - lol!!

 

As usual I havent done any wedding planning and I get married in January - ring shopping - that is the last thing on my list as FI wont wear a ring as hes a painter and decorator but we will get one for the day and he can wear when he fancies it - so we can get him a simple cheap and cheerful ones and get me a god damn load of bling!!!!

 

Welcome along all you newbies - you must all be so excited - we didnt have to wait for the prices to come out really we got engaged Oct last year and the prices came out 1st Nov - BUT do book as soon as possible we booked 3 weeks after the prices came out and couldnt get the week we wanted so had to go earlier.

 

Well done on the weight loss everyone I have 9lb to lose - but too much alcohol again this weekend, 2 take aways and a slab of cheesecake later I think I may have a few more to lose.

We are off to a wedding next weekend - went to one this Sat as well so hopefully I will be up and running in wedding mode again - going to try and do some shopping online today for favours etc as Buster is at work all day and its the first day off I dont have a hangover on for ages!! xxxxxx

OMG i'm so excited......wait for it........... i got my new suitcases!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! how bloody sad am i to get excited over 4 suitcases! ? What a bloody weirdo!!

Right i had loads of vino last night and now i'm craving Mcdonalds... greasy burger, chips and full fat coke.. it's gotta be done! Naughty i know! Will i enjoy it YES will i regret it YES! But i'll worry about that 2moro ;o) lol (loads of burpies and lunges for me this week) ha ha

Thanks girls for all the good luck wishes.What will i do with all my time when i come home lol

We are counting down the hours now we are all packed bar Sam who is at Bluewater with his mate holiday clothes shopping.

We had one small drama today mum closed Joshs bedroom window and snapped her thumb nail.OUCH

It was really low but hey it didnt matter we were going into towwn and i was supposed to be treating her to getting her nails painted.The lady puts a tip on so it matches her other nails and then paints them.Then she does a complete job on my nails as mine were wrecked we meet Paul straight after and go back to the car.She climbs in the back and plugs in her seatbelt breaking the new nail in half really low.Her nail is now held on with a plaster !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We hope one of the girlies have some nail glue other wise shes wearing the plaster all week !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh and lastly before i sign out i wanted to tell you all Paul has bought me a present!!!!!!!!!!!

Its not a ring cos he bought two rolls of wrapping paper BUT didnt even need the one.Ill keep you insuspence till i get home as to what it is i hope i like it

Finally I want to thankyou all for allowing me to rant and share the heartache and joy that comes with planning a wedding.

This truly is a special place to meet like minded brides Happy wedding planning girls.Your wedding day will be here before you know it

Hi ladies

 

I have had the worst bank holiday weekend ever...on Friday I get a phone call at work from FI to tell me that his grandad has been diagnosed with stomach cancer and only has a few weeks to live (if he gets to 2  months we're lucky), so we were told to get down the hospital and start saying our goodbyes.  Needless to say FI is in bits, I am also very close to his grandad more so than my own so it has affected me pretty badly. 

 

On Sunday we get another phone call from St Lucia saying that FI's aunt has just been killed in an accident...half of the family have just flown over to England as we have a family wedding this weekend so they literally had to turn around and try and get a flight back to St Lucia...I'm just wondering what the third thing is going to be!!!

ROO!!!  My favourite stepmum on the forum!  Can't believe I missed saying good bye and good luck!  I'm sure you will read this on your return anyway.  Your planning threads are fab darls and I cant wait to see your report!  We will all be thinking of you on the 3rd!

 

Hey - I have been in contact with Carribean Warehouse recently and I have to say - they have been awesome so far.  They are taking over all the contact with the hotel and arranging all the flights for our guest - UK and NZ which is amazing!  We sent our STD's on Friday so it has been exciting to hear who has received them so far and whether they think they will be coming or not.  I cant wait now but not really sure what my next job is to do! 

 

Started on my 30 day Paleo challenge today and am off to do spin class tonight.  Im dreading it as I have been avoiding the gym and my Personal Trainer for a bout a month.  It's gonna kill!  But I cant wait to see what a difference it makes to my weight and my health in general.  Will let yas all now how I get on - it seems you guys are doing GREAT in your weight loss!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
