Hiya I stay smack bang between Glasgow and Edinburgh.  It's really rural so I'm relieved to find somewhere to talk weddings ha ha as I think my hubby is a bit deaf with it all!  Your dresses look lush heres mine http://www.maggiesottero.com/dress.aspx?line=d&page=1&style=SD5230.  Not having such a great day - my stroppy 15 year old is a pain in the butt!

Thank you ladies for you lovely comments about 'my dress'...i love saying that 'my dress' hahahaha

Seriously though I am trying to not get too excited although i've already called my mum and best mate to tell them i've found 'the one' and FI said that i haven't stopped smiling since I got back from the shop.  I am going to continue looking around the shops, i've got another appointment in a couple of weeks and then the wedding shows start so i'll definitely be going to them, but honestly I think i'm just going to be going through the motions until I can try it on again in 8 weeks time.

Nicy - having just tried on Sterling today and it being one of my favourites, I can honestly say it is even more beautiful in real life than it is in the pictures.  You will look stunning in it. xx

Lisa - Wow Daphne is just gorgeous, i love it with the straight skirt, how exciting that you have put your deposit down. xx

Well ladies we put the deposit down on my dress today.....eeeek.....they got the one I wanted in the Diamond White & we all cried - Maggie Sottero - Daphne, I just want to go back now & put it on again...love love love it!! .....with the straight skirt Nicy!!

Charmaine How funny, made me laugh picturing your FI running down the runway...hahahaha On your dress I don't think it is ever to early, if the dress made you cry its the one. Go back in 2 months like they said & if it still makes you feel like that go for it...aaah how sweet your daughter crying, brought a lump to my throat!!

Herbie 76 - Our Colour scheme is Fuschia Pink & White, Beige Linen suits for the men, fushcia pink bridesmaids.  I agree with you about the dress I am having the dress I would've had in England,  & I tried on your dress, stunning!!  So what if we are hot...beauty is pain...lol

I haven't had any weird dreams yet but my mum dream't last night that I got married in Snow Whites dress....WTF...can you imagine....hahahaha

Roo - You must be so excited, I feel sick thinking about how I am going to feel with 2 weeks to go!!!!

Just speaking the truth hun, it really is a beautiful dress, I actually liked it better than the Cassia when I saw them both together x

hi all,

didnt end up going bridesmaid dress shopping after all............had some bad news about my granda, he's ill in hospital and things arent looking good :( so i cancelled it but will re arrange in a few weeks.

anyway, welcome to the forum Scottish Lass & Herbie76. Herbie, we've also booked sensatori if you read a few pages back we've had a right carry on with our confirmation date we booked as soon as the brochures were released and still didnt get the date we wanted! if i were you i'd ring the weddings team and kick off! wish i'd done that sooner as i'd probs have the date we asked for. we asked for 3 different dates in our first week and have ended up with day 11!

sorry to hear about your grandad lyndsey, hope you´re all ok...

what a lot of beautiful wedding dresses..... char your dress is stunning, it´s funny how we don´t end up with what we thought we´d want! just for the sake of it i´m going to post my dress, even though i´ve posted i before, cos it makes me smile!Rochia-de-mireasa-Lady-A.jpg

Obviously with my dwarf-like status, it looks nothing like that on me, but in an attempt to have my bosoms stick out further than my belly  I´ve just done circuit two on the 30 day shred, there was me sweating and swearing next to one sofa, antony lifting weights puffing and grunting next to the other sofa, and mia bouncing around like a fucking great big tweenie.....  anyone looking in would think we´d been released on some sort of care in the community programme..... just a normal saturday night in our house!  ;-/

I´ve just tried to pluck my eyebrows, but my hands are shaking so much i´ve had to give up..... don´t want to end up looking like one-eyed-doris.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
