Hi girlies, welcome new brides! Paris oooooo love Paris! Such a lovely place :o)

well i phoned the bridal shop and they want me to go in and get measured before they change the order from an 8 to 10. But in all honesty i am paying out for it so surely they have to order in what i want rather than what they think dont they? I will be more comfortable knowing the dress is a 10.

My friend has just lost 10lb on the slimming world diet. I might join up! I need some motivation! She is looking great! I am jealous ha ha...

As for FI's suits. I order FI's off Next and he's happy with it. Josie didnt Buster like the next suit? I think it would have been ok getting FI to go out trying suits on but he wouldn't like the paying part ha ha.... now getting him to buy his shirt and shoes is another matter.....

Jo i love Mia's dress and the colour is lovely! I need to shop for Scarletts but i think i will wait till after xmas so i get the size right :o)

Yesterday i sent out a message to the girls regarding my hen and had a pretty good feed back so that is something i am really looking forward to now too :o)

I made Paul come with me to the outlet and he thought he could pick one pay and leave the store hahaha

The gay sales rep helped me out and he ended up with the suit two sizes bigger lol

Now girls trust me you need to get those guys interested, old grey apple sacks remember

Your so funny, actually makes me laugh out loud :-)

roo,  you makes i larf!!!

my OH is still refusing to do anything about looking for a suit, i was holding off on getting Mia´s dress sorted until he´d sorted himself out, but i found this dress on the debenhams website, only 35quid. bargain! Most importantly she likes it and it it matches the purple roses that i bought her, have been looking at making her a bouquet and i think it might just be within the realms of my limited diy skills!

so now i have this for mia, little man jacob has his beige and cream outfit, so OH will just have to fit in with the rest of us. Lets not forget who is truly important in all this..... ME!!!!

I have a hen do not this weekend but the following weekend - its a murder mystery and we have all had our characters drawn out of a hat and I am Lyndsey Lohan - WTF!!! Others have characters such as Paula Radcliffe, Cruella De Vile, Dolly Parton - easy eh - me I get the Lohan!!!!  Think I might just get a jailbird outfit!

I'm a bit peeved about it all - I am looking forward to it but its worked out really expensive and we are going to Maidstone (12 miles away) - £118 for murder mystery, meal and hotel, £16 for minibus there and back (WTF - its down the road), £16.50 for queue jumping and a booth at the chaviest club in town!!!!  So its cost £150 plus I'm bound so spend at least £50 when I'm out, plus the cost of the outfit.  We could've gone away for the weekend somewhere decent - I dont mean to sound ungrateful and I know I will enjoy myself when I'm there but it seems so much money for something just down the road and a Maidstone night out is my idea of hell - all the little Kent chavs!!!

Obviously mine will be a much more classy affair - mwahahahahaha x

Ha ha Josie so funny, i bet you have a great time but i agree it's a little steep in price. Can you not drive and save money that way? £16 for a short way is alot? How many of you going?

I think they only have one club called Liquid Envy or something like that......I've heard the club is OK..? I'm worrying now you've said that about Maidstone, lol.. hopefully by then i will be to drunk to care ha ha

Well i sent off our wedding booking form this morning! so the ball is rolling and finger's x'd we will get a contract soon x

Morning!

Josietoms - dont forget to wear a tag on your ankle!  You could probably make one with one of those black elasticated belt thingys that have been really popular this season.  I think its sounds like a great weekend away but your right - pretty expensive huh? This wedding malarky sure does get pricey - even being a guest!

I honestly havent even thought about dressing Christopher yet.  I feel a bit overwhelmed at the moment with all the things you have to do to get married!  Im in a bit of a sticky situation as well - I live in England and I am mumless so Im kind of just winging it on my own.  Not really sure if I am doing things the right way round or not?  For example - yesterday, I was saying about how I spoke to the wedding coordinator at the Moon Palace which is great BUT I dont really understand whether I am supposed to book it direct through them or whether my guests are supposed to do the same thing etc.  I just feel a bit bossy if I tell them they have to do it that way - they may be able to get a better package deal through the charter companies?  Please, if some one can explain how it is all meant to work I would really appreciate it.

Jananpana - that dress for your little girl is gorgeous!

Michelle 2011 - is this Asford in Middlesex?  I have never been out there before but I know loads of grat places around the area - is there any particular reason they picked Ashford?  How exciting about your booking!

hahahaHA josie, you get a booth at a chavvy club! you´re going to have to get LASHED to get through that one! we went to a hen do in blackpool once, everyone told me it´s the vegas of england..... wrong wrong and wrong again, it´s got to be one of the worst weekends i ever had, i got so bollocksed, just to get through it that i lost the sight in one eye for a couple of days afterwards (though i had a brain tumor, but no, just too much booze!)

Surely it won´t be that bad!

Kiwimel, i reckon just give your guests as much info as you can, and they can make their own decisions about what´s cheapest for them, some of our guests have used the same travel agent as us, some have used tinterweb, and some have done it direct with resort. When Louise gets back from mexico she´ll be able to help you, cos she got married july 30th at the moon palace.

Mel i was going to say the same thing. Ask Louise when she's home. As she married at the same resort i'm sure she'd be able to offer you loads of advice.

No it's Ashford in Kent. My sister MOH chose it. Shes been to the hotel before and said its nice so i'm trusting her, lol....None of us have been to the club though....

Well girls we went to Bluewater today and FI bought his shirt. In the sale in House of Fraser so happy about that. He also looked at some shoes but the kids were playing up so he said we'd go back maybe friday night without them and look properly! I also saw a lovely clutch bag for the evening. Really pretty and goes well with my shoes and a bargain at £26 so FI said he will buy it for me friday! whoop! another two ticks off the ol list :o).... I'm a happy girlie today! xx

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
