Janapana your shoes are hot.Ive got hot pink platforms with crystals.I did try them with my dress and actually jumped when i spotted them in the mirror lol

Do any of you girlies know where i can find a birdcage veil or fascinator with only four weeks tuesday to we fly out. I am sweating about it big time.

My hair has grown i can get it into a pony tail now but it only has about two three inches of tail lol

I thought about the birdcage veil cos i could keep it down and then use a curling wand to make curls.

Im still pondering about getting clip in extensions and then curling all of the extensions and my own hair then pulling the sides up and using fresh orchids.

If money wasnt a problem i think id go with the birdcage veil ive seen on etsy that is about £100 although i would worry about it getting here but quite honestly we havnt got a spare £100 for me to wear it for five hours as i wont wear it again

If i went with the extensions i could use them again

Help me girls smile105.gif

Roo have you tried ebay for a french/birdcage veil? I have no idea where you could buy them sorry... I love the idea of clip in extensions though! You can pick them up cheap enough now too :o) My friend got some at one of those booths in bluewater and was only £40 and she says it literally takes her 30mins to put em in. They look so good too!

I went to Lakeside yesterday and mum bought me my wedding jewellery. I love it! She is a star! x

Michelle i think i will go for the clip in extensions. There is a salon in Maidstone and the girl in there played around she said i need eight strips to do the style i thought i wanted which was pulled around to one side and then curly. My hair is thick and because its blunt whatever that means i need the eight strips for one side.Normally they sell ten for the whole head.

I have the final fitting for my dress Monday morning so i will ask the lady there if she thinks a birdcage veil will be too much.If i go with neither then im on the hunt for a feather crystal fascinator. The only thing is i get my hair coloured and highlighted just a few days before we fly out and as i havnt had my highlites done now for two two and a half months the lady said its best to wait to get a true colour match before she sells me the extensions.

I looked at the stall at Bluewater and i nearly bought them there but in the back of my mind i wanted to have someone put them in for me.If i buy them from the maidstone shop  she said she will style my hair and put them in i think they came to about seventy pounds.

My hair has been the hardest thing to make a decision on.

Where did you get your jewelry from? good ole mums xx

I bought all of out airport t-shirts yesterday girls vistaprint specials lol

They were a bargain £3 somehing each with free posting.

I still havnt worked out how to post pictures so ill explain which ones i got.

If you go the the gift bit t shirts come up then if you click on the style button i think!!!!!!!!!!! it brings up weddings its weired there are to ways to do it but this way brings up more choices.

i found a bride and groom holding hands and there are hot pink and turquoise colours (PERFECT)

If you click onto advanced editing you an change the colours so for all the girlies iv done hot pink writing which reads Maria & Pauls greek wedding on the  back ive had there name printed. The boys are the same but with turquoise.Pauls has Im off to our greek wedding with Paul the groom on the back and mine says Maria the bride (of course)i got free posting cos the order was over £30

Im not doing OTT bags just the t shirts fans pashminas and jelly bean cones.

All thats left for me to do now is to find confetti/petals and to add some bling/ribbon to the place cards as they are plain white at the mo and buy the rest of my mac makeup. Then most importantly post my planning thread.

I decided not to do OTT  bags or gifts Pauls girls loose everything no word of a lie they dont even arrive with hairbands for there hair come to think of it not even outfits that go together so i know if i bought them something because they dont live with us id never see it againand they would have no clue as to where it was .Amy is having her wedding jewelry as part of her birthday present well im giving it to her on her birthday on top of all her presents so avoiding buying Chloe anything she cant wear jewelry with her tutu it wont work. That way i dont have to buy my three sons anything either.Im being cautious as we are all staying in the villa fifteen of us im sure Paul and i will be digging deep into our pockets all week.

Plus what could i buy them all ummm i guess i could of got them sunglasses.ummmmmmmmmm i need to loose that thought hahah

Michelle you didnt say where you got your jewelry from.I had a makeover at the mac counter at Bluewater you pay £25 to book and then you use that £25 to purchase products.I spent £40 on top of the £25 but there is still stuff i need to get actually loads im sure i dont need to get it all from mac though although it is fab stuff and did last all day.I bought the foundation three eyeshadows and a primer for my eyes.I need to get the skin primer a highlighter, powder, blusher lip pencil lip stik gloss and eye brow pencil eye liner and mascara.I will try and get some at Gatwick although the girl at bluewater said to ring ahead and be sure they have it all there.I forgot i want to get some props aswell for our photobooth table, whilst in town tomorrow ill see if i can find anything.Theres me thinking i was almost done

roo66 how exciting, i think the hair extensions are a great idea! Think i might do the same, then can scrape the frizz back and let the fake do the work!

Did the MAC lady give you a step by step guide as to how to get your makeup right? I love MAC, but i look like a drag queen with makeup on, can´t seem to get it right.... an idiots guide would be great!

I´m not doing OOT bags either, got far too much stuff to take as it is, so i´m going to get everyone a thermal travel mug, give it to them all as they arrive (want to get them something they might actually use!), and then just get maracas for everyone when we get there as a wedding favour.

You must be getting so excited!

Going to go and look back on Vista at those Tshirts, i have programs etc saved there ready for when u have everything 100% confirmed, time of reception etc... so i may have to add the tshirts to my waiting list too :-) x

Im going to be doing "mini" OOT i think, with personalised playing cards and shot glasses if i can find them and i have seen some lovely mini starfish photo frames, i will put chapstick and a few other bits in bu& i have the fans and i will get some bubbles and a colouring book for our neice Amélie to help keep her entertained :-)

I love the idea of hair extension.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
