Nicy...I am sure you will love your dress as much as you did 12 months ago, what style have you gone for? I know when i was looking at another dress the shop was going to charge me £30 to order it in for me to try on but said that it then comes off the price if you choose to buy.

P.S. No worries about the name thing hadn't even noticed lol

Michelle....Thank you for the comments on the dress, how are your plans going so far?

Im actually thinking of ordering my dress online at
Discount Unusual wedding dresses-money save wedding, Unique bridal gown, evening dresses from superbweddingdress.com

Im a tiny bit worried after reading the horror stories but i figure €135 is a small gamble if i get it and its all good... Ive read a few good reviews so i think i will go for it and save myself like £800!!!! :-)

Nicy thats a stunning dress very elegant i love it, i agree if you can save some pennys then why not go for it like you say 135 is a small gamble, i know Maggie Sottero is a big name in the bridal industry and the dresses are worth every penny but i feel sometimes that as soon as you mention the word "wedding" prices double, i have seen a lovely little tiara type headband for my flowergirls and when i phoned the shop for a price enquiry they wanted £70 each!!!!!! thinking i will be having a scout about on ebay lol

Thank you Michelle that would be great, i have decided to do the bigger things first, paying for my dress and bridesmaids dresses etc although they won't be fitted for them yet i can least relax in knowing they are paid for so i am not panicing that we will run out of money lol and then i will start with the favours etc.

Do you ladies have any ideas on your hairstyle for your big day? i carn't decide and everyone keeps asking me lol thinking of a tiara and veil but not 100% yet, what about everyone else?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
