I know where hondon is, it´s about 30mins from where i live! How very bizarre! Let me know if you come out, we can have a sneaky sangria!
Ha!! Small world! Glad I asked now about your flight! God we'll take up a fair share of the flight! wonder how many other brides will be on that fight too! Thats hilarious! And if I make it over to spain I sure would like a sneaky wee sangria! at this rate we'll end up in the same airport hotel too!! Have you been to mexico before?

Do you ever venture into hondon? As far as I know there isn't much to the town really but think my MOH is working in one of the restaurant/bars the now to get by while she's visiting!

Hi Im in the states and I will be moving to London after my wedding in december 2010. It would be nice to make some new friends since I will know no one there except my hubby. sigh. To be honest Im scared of the thought of moving so far away from all my family and friends.

Welcome - you can be a 'honory' UK bride :-)
There are a few of us on here from London and the South East of England who can always answer any questions you have.
How comes you are making the journey across the pond? xx welcome4.gif

nope, never been to mexico, just picked it cos it's far away and relatively cheap! i've only been to hondon a couple of times, have a friend who lives there, but it's north of where i live, and i work further south. def let me know if you come over!

see, i wanted to have mine at home, i'd have felt a lot more in control than the hosp, but that's not really an option here, they like to strap you to the bed and shout at you...... maybe next time...... (not! shop shut!)

Yeya99 - where in London are you moving to? I'm sure you'll make friends in no time!

So are you having a long distance relationship at the moment? If so I bet you cannot wait to be with your FI full time!

Janapana - just wondering if you've heard from the WC yet at the Tequila? I'm dying to contact her, but seem to remember that you said on another post that you did and she said she will contact you about 6wks before (I think that was you - but may be wrong!)

I've done almost everything I can so far for the actual wedding day, just got bits for the AHR to finish - so really want to start organising the food, photographer, cake etc - all the big exciting things!

Also is anyone else worrying about whether or not they are still going to love their dress when they see it again! I last tried mine on in Feb and got my first fitting booked for mid August and now I'm thinking - " Will I still like it!" I'm sure I will, but think it may be a bit plain! Eeeek!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
