I have now decided on my colour and i have chose turqoise but i am now struggling to find dresses for my bridesmaids, i have found some lovely ones at aria dresses but because they are an American company they dont ship to the UK : -(

my only other option is to take some pics to a dress maker and see what they would charge to make them

Soon to be McRae, check this store on ebay - gianinarbridal items - Get great deals on wedding dress bridalgown, party evening or bridalmaid items on eBay Stores!.

Reading previous posts this one seems to be the most common that other brides have used. You can pay a deposit of US$60 and they will send you "proofs" of the dress before it is ready and you can back out if you want. The $60 is for bridal dresses so maybe it's less for bridesmaids, not sure though. You can browse their webpage and pick any dress you want and then choose a color, OR you can email them pictures of a dress you like and they will reply will a quote on how much to make that one. I contacted them via Ebay and told them i had pictures of a wedding dress I wanted replicated and could they provide an demail address and they said to use [email protected]. I haven't had a chance to get back in touch with them again but I'll let you know how it goes.

If you want to read the thread on here about the knock off wedding dresses, then check out http://bestdestinationwedding.com/fo...ts-here-36700/.

I warn you it's long and addictive so make sure you pour yourself a glass of wine first!!

Hope this helps and good luck!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
