I'm not wearing a veil. I love your flower girl dress where is it from. I need one for my daughter Scarlett.

FI suit is from Next. He is wearing the jacket and trousers and open coller white shirt. His dad will wear the same and my son Harrison we will match up in the same (he is giving me away). My dad and bestman have dropped out so thats our groomsmen!

These are my shoes but i have now seen some fushia pink sandals with diamontes on so might get those, hee hee

I'm hoping to have plaits in my hair some way or another but am trying to grow it a bit as the moment - one of my BMs is a hairdresser as well so going to try out loads of styles first before i decide.

Loving those shoes girls - v bling - love it!

I have flat shoes but they are mainly for my AHR going to go bare foot during our ceremony as its down on the beach. Then probably flip flops in the evening.

Michelle - is that suit the one that is currently in the Next catalogue as FI keeps looking at it - wondered if its quite lightweight?

it's exciting to hear from people from the UK who are also doing the long haul route!

Weve booked the Moon Palace for our wedding, which is in just over 2 months time! wahooo!

We booked with Thisistravel (who are now teletext holidays) and got a good price, but we didn't do a 'group' booking, which i regret as we would of got so many freebies if we had.

we fly out on the 25th July and get married on Friday 30th.

We have 35 people (including us) coming

I have got most things sorted now. i am slightly concerned about how to transport a lot of the stuff over there, but im sure we'll be fine!

i can't WAIT!!!

welcome4.gif And so exciting :-) Not long to go.... Im so excited for you!! wish i was getting married soon 2 xox

I have a tiara to match the waist band of the dress - as i know a veil would annoy me.

I am getting there slowly......
Your dress is beautiful Josie And i love the idea of the tiara matching :-)

We have had "2 regreat cards" today :-( from my aunt and uncle and 1 from my cousin... i thought they wouldnt come but its sad to have it comfirmed!!

Im so jealous of you girls who are taking loads of people im thinking at the mo its just going to be us, my FSIL hubby and niece. Im pleased at that but i wanted a good few. My mum and dad are still to confirm yet 2.... coz of prices but i just have to learn to deal with the ups and DOWNs of planning a DW.
One of my friends and her fella may be in mexico around the same time so said they may get a day pass (even if they have to watch from a distance.. due to the 80% guest rule at the RIU) which will be great :-)

Stephen gets told in 2 weeks if he is made redundant or not... 2 weeks down 2 to go... fingers x's it goes fast and we get the best news ever and i can carry on wedding planning instead of wedding cancelling!!!!

I love seeing the progress you lovelys are making :-)

Nicy i really hope your mum and dad book up! I know how you feel it is so horrible when ppl are unable to come (or drop out in our case).. But i'm sure your wedding day will be fab and i can't wait to hear all about it and see it all come together! :o) xxxx

Josie this is the suit (sorry being lazy and just adding links instead of uploading pics)

Yes it is very lightweight. Dan is 6' 3 and very slim so he got the slim fit and he looks gorgeous in it with the white shirt.. :o) a bargain at £110 too :o)

Buy Stone Slim and Regular Fit Suit: Jacket from the Next UK online shop

Thanks Michelle - im gonna order it up anyways as i know he will leave it to the last minute and then moan they havent got it in his size! At least it will be something he can wear again as well.

Nicy - i love love love yr dress it is beautiful and i really hope your parents can come. FI keeps saying to me as long as us 2 are there does it really matter about anyone else - but i think us women think differently to men - but remember you will be with the person who you want to spend the rest of your life with in a dream location and nothing can take that away from you - sending you lots of good vibes x

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
