Are you arriving ahead of your guests?

Recommended Posts

Our wedding coordinator requested that we arrive at least 3 business days before the wedding to finalize all the arrangements. I think it's a very good idea. If we arrive the day before, I'd be freaking out with worry!

We are arriving on Tuesday, my parents are arriving on Wednesday, and the rest are arriving Thur-Fri-Sat. I warned everyone that we will have some meetings w/ the coordinator, photographer, rabbi, etc.. They were more than ok to just chill and relax and if we have time, it will be great to meet in the evenings. We are also staying for an extra week after the wedding and most people are leaving Tue-Wed-Thur. I think it will be very nice to spend time with them all.

We are arriving Tuesday afternoon and our wedding is that Friday, then we leave the following Friday (10 days). Our guests are arriving Wednesday or Thursday and leaving Sunday or Monday. We are happy we did it this way. The first 2 full days will be us doing wedding things during the day while our guests relax, then everyone will hang out at night. We have the wedding Friday and Saturday and Sunday to hang out with our guests then we have 5 days to ourselves.

We are arriving on Sunday with our parents and sisters arriveing Sunday and Monday. Everyone else is arriving between Tuesay and Friday, the wedding is on Saturday. Most people are leaving Sunday and Monday with a few staying longer. I told those guests, that come Tuesday morning we don't know them! LOL We are staying until Friday and wated some alone time. We didn't want to tell ppl when they had to leave. They completely understand that its our honeymoon. We are planing to do some excursions that Tuesday so we won't even be at the resort.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
