We're not having any. We have 20 guests, and felt that just having them in Jamaica was support enough. We initially were planning on having his sister as his 'best woman' and my best friend - a guy - but decided to go it alone. I'm just really excited that the people we want there are coming!

As of right now, I have my maid of honor and one bridesmaid. My fiance had intended on asking his one brother to be his best man, but now he's not coming. His other brother will be standing up (he's undecided if he is asking him to be his best man or not). We are going to wait to see who actually books their trips before he asks anyone else. I have one flower girl (my little sister who will be 6), and two ring bearers (my little brother who will be 4, and FI's nephew who will be 3). He has two nieces that we were going to include, but they are not coming. I prefer to keep it small so I'm OK with 2 adults on each side, but if there will be a lot of people attending and you want to have more stand up and they are willing to do it why not? Although the total cost of coming to a destination wedding may be higher than a local wedding, I have spent pretty close for weddings I have stood up in locally since many required a hotel stay for one or two nights, dresses and gifts, etc. I have also thought about paying for the girl's dresses, but I have to see how much we have left in our budget after all the other stuff is paid for.

I'm not having a bridal party. unfortuanetly, non of my gf's are dependable. To be honest, the only friend that I really trust is my mother. Some of my "close" friends were invited to my wedding shower, took the time to rsvp for themselves and MULTIPLE guests, and then had the nerve to not even show up!!

1 for me and 2 or 3 for him. I'm shy and have a small group of friends and he is social with a large group that has always been together so it's been hard for him to narrow it down. I had one friend "invite" herself to be a maid but I gently let her know I was only having one person stand up for me due to "space" limitations at the site.

4 on each side...it was hard. Started off with 3, then became 4...now we are set. but we are also having 2 ushers, does that count?
