Hi, I'm a newbie! I just joined today and am excited to meet all of you? I was wondering if there is anyone out there who has had there wedding at the Westin Los Cabos or whom is currently planning one there so I can learn from you guys....my wedding is currently booked there for April 5th, 2008.....my life is kind of crazy right now too because I'm also in my last year of medical school!

Welcome and happy planning. KarlaV stayed at the Westin for her wedding (I think) You should PM her some questions you may have. Their are some pics of the Westin on Juans website (look below my sig pic for his webpage)

Thanks guys...I'm going to PM Karla to see if she has some great tips. I won't be able to send the STD out until end of August....I'm hoping that's enough time. I got engaged April 29th but with school things have sort of been in slow motion. I've sinced hired a wedding planner and she's been such a life saver. Anyway, more later! I have my licensing boards coming up at the end of August so, I must go study (its such a drag!)smile41.gif

Oh I forgot to tell you guys that I already have my dress ordered!

 

Do you guys know of good places to look for a bridesmaid dress....I kind of want to do the variety thing: same color but different variations of the same dress...I'm hoping for something knee length or slightly higher with chiffon.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
