would you be happy to receive a digital picture frame?

Recommended Posts

I have friends who have gotten them and love them (even those who aren't techies). I would love to have one. I have so many pics I never printed out ... so it would be a great way to see them.

I like the idea. We have one on our registry. It is a nice idea because you will never get sick of the photo--even if you don't have it scroll you can change it often. Good for those of us with ADD ( or perhaps VERY bad)

Sidenote:Whenever I ask my FH if he has ADD he says "Wanna ride bikes?" It makes me laugh

My mom got a digital picture frame for Reilly for his b-day last month. I wasn't sure if he was going to use it or not - but he loves it.

He loves to sled (aka snowmobile) and has a lot of amazing pics of it. He uploaded them all and now it plays the slideshow 24/7. Every once in awhile R will look up - and be like "oh - that's an awesome pic"

I think it would be very cool to have all your wedding pics in it - although the picture quality isn't the greatest - I think it is a sweet gift!

My brother just got one from his wife yesterday for his birthday and said he will probably never use it. I'm not a huge fan. I love pictures, but for some reason, just don't like the digital frames...sorry! I guess it just depends on the person. If you think it's something your friend will like, then go for it.

Especially since my computer screen saver flashes through all the photos.
So, in conclusion, I don't think I helped you at all! Sorry!
this is kind of how i feel - i'd be a little indifferent, but it seems i'm definitely in the minority. i'm not sure i'd really use it at home - but maybe once i got it all working, i'd really like it.

Karen and I got one for an engagement gift and we love it. Right now we have all of our wedding photos on a memory card inside it to use at our AHR this coming Saturday.

I don't think its something we will use all the time, but it really is a nice way to display photos when you need to.

I think it totally depends on the person. I personally would not want one. I love pictures and have frames on all my walls, and the fridge is covered in pictures, but I do not think I would like a digital one. I would not put it on my desk at work either. But, as you can see, some people love them and would love them. So, its really an iffy gift, you just never know.

i wouldn't buy that for them unless they were tech savvy or really into pictures. i know a couple of people that have them and they tend to stop using them after a couple of months. i always like to give timeless gifts for wedding presents - something that they can / will use in 10 years and smile.

but everyone is different and they may really love it - the majority on here would and these girls are pretty savvy!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
