I didn't think that I had to do much since it'll just be my fiance and I, but I've realized that I have plenty to do! And I have 59 days!

1. Make playlist for songs on my Ipod

2. Get my garter

3. Hair flower - still trying to search through etsy to find the perfect one'

4. Order our sand ceremony kit

5. Finish writing wedding vows - i don't think my fiance has even started his yet smile41.gif

6. Pick up his tux

7. Pick up his wedding band - we picked them out last week

8. My second fitting (and hopefully the last) is on the 20th

9. Find where we're going to have our legal ceremony at home...

10. Go shopping for clothes to take on our trip

11. Make a packing list so we won't forget anything

12. Hair trials - at least 2 more

13. Makeup class - I need to make sure that I can do my own just in case I don't like the resort's spa

14. Confirm all our details with our photographer and wedding coordinator!

15. Start planning our AHR! Haven't even put ANY work into that yet.... YIKES

I HOPE that's all we have left to do! Phew....

I just ordered my pre-travel brochures from vistaprint and bought DIY luggage tags from amazon for super cheap!  I am getting so excited for my BD shoot Saturday and my first dress fitting early next week!  I think I'm about done buying for the OOT bags, althought I need something for the men (everything seems so girly!).  Suggestions for anything inexpensive?

My list is (thankfully) getting shorter:

*pick up my wedding band (it just needed sizing)

*pick up boys' attire

*put together OOT bag stuff (i.e., hangover/feeling blue/oh sh*& kits -- haven't decided what to call them yet; welcome booklet)

*dress fittings (next one in May)

*FI gift (watch? already did BD pics)

*finalize bridesmaids' shoes/accessories/gifts

*finish photobooks for parent gifts

*finalize playlist for the DJ

*confirm with photographer/DJ/hair & makeup

*print menus & programs

*pay the resort :/

*then...if there is any $ left - buy some new clothes :)

Is that it?  I think so?  I hope so!

Ho!!! I just came across this thread.. so exciting! I'm a June 2011 bride too! We get married at the Valentin Imperial Maya on June 28th. Less than 10 weeks to go and  by the looks of things.. I have a LOT to do. :/

Won't get into it right now because the list is probably too long but nice to meet everyone and I'm going to read all the posts before writing more :)

WOW I've been MIA from this thread from a while. It was so great to read and catch up on where all of you ladies are at in the process. I can't believe we have less than 2 months remaining!!!! shots.gif I feel like there is still so much that I have left to do. OK here's an update for you all.

What I've done:

*send STDs

*purchased my dress

*purchased my shoes

*purchased my bling

*helped Mom make my veil

*helped Mom make my garter

*purchased fiance's suit

*found wedding party attire

*completed OOTs

*purchased both of our wedding rings

*found a few extra decorations to bring with us

*purchased lots of goodies for my bridesmaids

*1st bridal shower down (SOOO MUCH FUN!)

What I've Still Got to Do:

*send out invites (EEK I know, I'm so behind on this. I have them here, I just need to print and send them. Also, we sent out STDs over a year ahead of time and I kind of figure that everyone knows and is already booked if they're going to be there with us)

*find favors (I really want to spoil the people who do show, but I have NOOO idea what to get for them!)

*go to dress fitting (Scheduled for May 4)

*lose a few pounds (I'm just not feeling bride/beach body ready!!!)

*make sure future hubby picks out rockin gifts for his guys

*get a tan (or else I'll fry in Cancun)

*make final decision on menu, cake and flowers

*figure out WTH i'm going to do with my hair

WHEW smile35.gif I feel like I've gotten a lot done and yet there is still so much left to do.

Home stretch ladies!!

How is everyone's planning going?  OOT bags is my next project!

I finally got my first dress fitting...

I ordered custom lip balms and custom steins for our OOT bags.  I put together a Welcome OOT Book, but still have to print and assemble.  I made door hangers with VistaPrint.  Still thinking about playing cards and have to get all supplies for the hangover kits.

Fiancee's ring finally came in and we have to pick it up this week.  Men's Wearhouse is having the buy one, get one sale so we can FINALLY get all the guys' outfits.

Finally took e-pics yesterday (after being engaged for 16 months!)

Doesn't it seem like everything comes together ALL AT ONCE???  Wow!

Oh yeah - bridal showers the next two weekends :)  It all feels so real suddenly!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
