Hey ladies-

We just bought our groomsmen attire. We got them Perry Ellis Linen suits at Dillards. They also have a big and tall section that had the same suits!! (We also have a 6' 3" big guy!) The pants were $69 and the jackets were $165. Great suit!

It is flying by.. we are pretty much done wedding wise. I need one more thing for my OOT bags. We need to go this weekend to have my daughters dress fitting (flowergirl) and i ordered my sons shoes, he is giving me away.. The only thing i haven't got is the BM's gifts! I was thinking maybe a braclet of some sort but not sure! I can't believe time is going so quickly x

We saw the same suits @ Lord and Taylor. We're going to have our groomsmen buy the pants and the vest or just the pants and a linen top.

We're all pretty much at 2 months now, ladies!  Can you believe it?  And now there are 2012/2013 brides poppin' up!  Wow!

How is everyone's planning going?  OOT bags is my next project!

I finally got my first dress fitting...

I ordered custom lip balms and custom steins for our OOT bags.  I put together a Welcome OOT Book, but still have to print and assemble.  I made door hangers with VistaPrint.  Still thinking about playing cards and have to get all supplies for the hangover kits.

Fiancee's ring finally came in and we have to pick it up this week.  Men's Wearhouse is having the buy one, get one sale so we can FINALLY get all the guys' outfits.

Finally took e-pics yesterday (after being engaged for 16 months!)

Doesn't it seem like everything comes together ALL AT ONCE???  Wow!

Oh yeah - bridal showers the next two weekends :)  It all feels so real suddenly!

Erin, you look so good!  Look at that tiny waist!!!  Oh la la!  That is great that you are doing so much for the guests!  I just got my second wedding dress in (the first burned down with the store), and I still haven't gotten my alterations done yet.  Just got a call yesterday that my BM dresses are in (so I will go look at them tomorrow with my future sister).  The last of our bridal party (and for the most part, everyone) has booked as of this week.  I paid off Dreams Cancun for our wedding package and the photographer for their package, flight, and hotel.  I already bought my out of town bags last year, bought most everything for centerpieces, luggage, just ordered my hair flower, and now waiting on my etsy lady to make our sox/cubs garter.  We have our starfish cake server and cutter, sparklers, chair sashes, and ordered a light up dance floor.  Ordered groomsmen outfits and groom's custom linen suit at IslandImporter.  Everything is in, just have to have his pants remade.  I got lanyards and room key holders for our guest, and now have to work on fillers for our OOT bags.  I ordered our sand and wine ceremony set, sandalwood fans and fan stickers, handmade maracas, and am waiting on the butterfly and dove release lady to get back to me.  We take our last dance lesson this tuesday (doing the dance from Enchanted to So Close).  Our shower is in three weeks, our Bach parties are May 21st (but maids and groomsmen are still planning those), and we have an AHR on July 10th for my side, and July 17th on grooms side (conflict in family interests...).  All we have to really pay for is our travel now.  I can't believe how much I got done, and how little everything costs!  I'm so stoked about this wedding, but am getting so tired trying to keep up with it all.  I'm so afraid I will forget something crucial... ahhhh!    2 months!   U ladies excited yet!!!!

Erin, you look great!!  My first dress fitting is in a week and 1/2...I'm so excited!!!  I have been doing P90X for 6 1/2 weeks now, and have lost a full inch in my belly, so I'm looking forward to seeing how much better my dress will fit now!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
