It IS all about babysitting!!! lol and like these kids want to do work after 1/2 the class leaves!  I end up going from 22 kids to 6 kids in my one class, so that'll be interesting.

I teach business classes -- Accounting, Business Law, Personal Finance...

I'm definitely starting to see the light haha...FI's bachelor party is Saturday, mine is next Saturday, and then we will be packing the weekend after!  ew..that does sound kind of far away still haha...we leave 3 weeks from today :oP

What do you teach?  At least the light (AKA Cancun sunshine) is at the end of the tunnel!

I know the weather is unpredictable; it just doesn't go with my Type A personality!  Oh well, we'll just hope for the best!

Can't wait to read the planning threads - I think I will do mine after the wedding - I have a feeling I'll have a lot of time on my hands.

mizzrojo - I'm a June bride but not in Mexico - I joined the thread anyway because there were no other June threads out there!

I'm just going to use them for the ceremony and then switch over to my sexy shoes. Crisis averted! LOL. It's funny how as the wedding gets closer, even a small set back feels HUGE!

Tasha! Girl! So soon. My wedding is the day after yours and I head out of town on the 7th. It's just so soon and exciting! I can't wait to get back and hear how everyone's big day went. It's all just going to fly by before we know it ladies!

I've heard that the weather forecasting is highly unreliable, and not to be worried that they call for a chance of rain everyday. I'm hoping this is true, and that it will be just fine for our ceremony! I will be really upset if I've waited this long, and drug everyone to Mexico just to get married in the same ballroom area that I could've rented here. :(

Trying to stay positive though...

Can't believe we leave in 6 days!

I have to add to the procrastination discussion too... My FI shirt should be arriving tomorrow or Friday. He's not freaking out about it, but I can't imagine not having a shirt 6 days before we leave. I guess that's why we're all different people, right?

Totally - fiance is chill and like "whatever happens, happens."  But I guess its easy to be relaxed when he knows I'm taking care of everything.  To quote Claire on Modern Family "You can't have 2 fun parents."  Someone's gotta be in charge.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
