Thank you for all of the support ladies! I'm doing OK now, but for a while I was just in a daze and very frustrated and hurt. I'm going to try to not let Ms.Drama get me down from here on out. Anyway, on to happier things!

Jessica, I'm so glad that you enjoyed your bridal shower. You really deserve it. The pre-wedding parties are so much fun and really get you into the spirit. My FI has his bachelor party this weekend and mine will be just a few days before we leave. So much fun ahead!!!

Michelle, WOW 8 days!!!!!!!! Please, please keep us updated and let us know how you're progressing before you leave and how every thing went when you get back. Can't wait to hear about it! It's almost party time. woot2.gif

Ok ladies, June is almost a week away!!  ahh!!  I'm like getting to the point now where time is starting to feel like it's dragging!  I am so ready to get on the plane and head to Mexico!!  I can't believe it, but I think I'm almost ready to post my planning thread!?!?!  I'm just waiting for my personalized ring 'dish' to get here from etsy and then I think that is about it?

I just picked up a shadowbox type frame from AC Moore today and am going to try my hand at the DIY sand ceremony frame!  I just can't see myself spending $50-60 on the ones I find online!!  I bought the frame for $8 and am hoping the directions I found online will be enough.  I also bought orange sand, and instead of doing both of our wedding colors, I am planning on doing orange sand with actual sand from the resort!  I thought it would be a nice way to incorporate a piece of where we are at?  What do you think!?

My next dress fitting is in 6 days!! woohoo!!

-Need ivory flip flops...  I have nice heels for pictures, but my dress is short so I need nice flops for beach... any ideas or just go barefoot???

-Finish ipod list

-Welcome Letter

-Isle decor:  Need to attach white pencil starfish to ribbon, has anyone done that?  What is the best way??

-OOT bag: thinking of giving up on these and just taking it all back and getting everyone a nice gift???  thoughts?

Anyone have any advice??

Thanks ladies!!

Hey ginnigurl! Congrats on the wedding and I'm sure you're insanely excited! Per your question on barefoot...I design barefoot beach jewelry (for Brides & Bridesmaids), so it's another option in case you'd like to save the heels for the reception and walk down the beach aisle with your feet sparkling in foot jewels (this is what I did)!  Here is my page on here for [Red-i] By Chelsea: Exotic Travel-Inspired Destination Wedding Jewelry as well as my site! I'm happy to customize any orders as well and I can do a quick turnaround time!

My site is www.redibychelsea.com. All jewelry is travel-inspired based on exotic destinations I've visited. Everything can be customized by color, style & personality :)

Cheers!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
